my guess is never. i don't see him playing in a rockets uni again. he's played in just 11 of our 36 games so far and has been wildly unproductive, except for one or two outings. he and JVG apparently aren't even on the same planet concerning his basketball shape, and more trade are seeming to pop up everyday. i hope he plays for us because i think he can contribute to this team in the scoring and rebounding compartments. but sadly i don't think that will happen.
I think he'll be back. The whole trade thing was mostly just analysts speculation, coupled with the fact that the Pistons want someone new in the backcourt and they were pursuing him this off season. He's been gone the last few games with a back injury, not because of more fights with JVG (at least the media says so). So I expect him to be back within the next few games. Now that's just my speculation, so I could be way off.
At this point everything is still up in the air, how can you be so sure? Is it so funny to eat your own words if he does come back as a rockets player, or something else I don't get?
I think he's just trying to be clever (and yes, funny). Also I don't think message board posters for the most part care much about eating their own words, because they don't actually know the people they're talking to. But I agree with you, everything is up in the air, people saying he IS a Piston are dumb.
Just like with TMac's back, I've havent heard a consistant story on Bonzi. One day he's supposed to miss more time, then he's feeling better, then he's on the trading block.....I dont know what to believe.
i had read that he went to see the witch doctor with t-mac and said that he was feeling much better.....and that he would soon be back. Whats up with all this trade talk?

Da, I would give up on the predictions if I was you. You haven't exactly been the Oracle of the NBA future We're not trading Bonzi. His contract is designed to benefit the Rockets We can't get equal value. I wouldn't trade him, unless it was for another underpaid talented player and I can't think of one who would fit that description better than Bonzi. Dale Davis? Give me a break. I would rather eat Bonzi's contract There's always rumors in the NBA. If the Rockets ever considered trading Bonzi for Dale Davis, we should question the management. Have you noticed that rumors never come out of the solid franchises like San Antonio, Dallas and Houston and they always seem to originate in the East? (New York, Philly, Detroit now that they are desperate) This rumor about Dale Davis is either totally bogus or perhaps the Pistons inquired and offered Dale for Bonzi, but CD said no. Bonzi will be back tomorrow or the next game and he will be a valuable contributor.
