It has to be a standing ovation. Francis played his hardest every game in a rocket uniform.

I don't think they earned standing o's, but nice round of applause sounds just about right.

It SHOULD BE a nice round of applause in my opinion..but I accidentally voted for "smattering of boos and catcalls mixed with handclaps" cuz that's probably what's gonna happen..or maybe indifference lol. :p I'm gonna go to a lot of games this season..I hope :D I will cheer for him. FOR SURE!

Rule of thumb: root for the guys your team traded away; boo the guys who left you standing in the cold to chase dollar signs waved around by other teams.

He was a great player but not someone that I would stand up and give a standing ovation for...... I just see him as just another player that wore our uniform but is now gone.

I certainly think they deserve a nice round of applause but nothing wrong with a standing O. Regardless of what I think of their B.B. I.Q.'s they certainly gave all they could for the time they were here and deserve a little appreciation for their efforts.

I voted for nice applause. Steve's a nice guy and all, but I'm still going to root for the Rockets to embarass the Magic and beat them by 50 points, just like any other team.

Nice round of applause is well deserved, but I dont see why anyone would give him a standing "O"... especially when most people in our lame arena wont even get out of thier seats to cheer players that are ON OUR TEAM.

Standing ovations should be reserved for a guy like Dream or Glyde...Steve Francis will go down as a great player who played for our team...but he wont ever reach the status of those guys...

I like the nice round of applause. I will have mixed feelings because I am so ecstatic that Francis is gone, but I will sort of miss Mobley. He certainly took too many shots and was too streaky, but he was a heck of a defender. And on occasion, he could really light it up. I think the Rocket's fans should be classy about the whole thing, even though Francis' play ruined by TV remote, my popcorn, and my mental health. I will uproariously cheer all the turnovers the Rockets get off of him, and after watching him for five years, I promise there will be many.

AND Magic Johnson since he almost always led the league in TO's, Jason Kidd is the best PG in the league and he is always in the top 5.
