This didn't need its own thread. Free agents can sign on the 11th of July. All of the big names should decide by then. Dwight decided on July 3rd last summer.
Usually the first week of July (if ure thinking Melo, LeBron). At least thats how it was with Howard, July 5th was the day when he said on twitter "ive decided to become a member of the Houston Rockets".

It will happen quickly. Whoever these players choose, there will be necessary contingent moves. Like if LeBron chooses Houston, they'd immediately have to clear cap(or work out S&T with Riley), as well as starting to woo FAs to round out the roster. The stars understand that if they take too much time, it will hinder the roster of the team they go to. My guess is it will be similar to Dwight last year, around the 5th.
