I just wondering if Eddie would get a chance to be on the team or not as well as Oscar Torres? I was reading on Utah newspaper website that Andre Kirelenko (sp?) has already been asked.

With Eddie's play of late I believe that he should be invited and OT might be able to make it as wildcard.

Well it's official on NBA.COM. No Eddie or Oscar on the roster. Maybe someone will get hurt. Not that I am wishing that on anyone.

these rosters must have been picked awhile back because every sports writer in American is jumping on the Eddie bandwagon as of late.

Thank Rudy for Griffin being left off.

Several of us on cc.net were discussing, before the season, if Rudy would groom like Griffin like Francis or like other Rookies. He did the later, and Griffin was brougth along slow. That combination leads to ESPN ranking Griffin a bust.

Then of course the rest is history. Pretty ironic how Griffin went on fire right after that ad. I bet it was a combination of Griffin's ego being hurt, and the Rockets front office trying to redeem it self for trading 3 picks for a player picked as a bust. All Griffin needed was some minutes (thanks to injuries, not Rudy) & confidence (from his teammates & himself).

Good point. EG will prove to be the best player in the previous year's draft for years to come. I said in another thread that if Rudy would have been playing him like he should, he would be winning the ROY race in a landslide. Rudy's cautious approach with EG early on was misguided and it may cost EG the ROY honor.

If Rudy would have let Eddie play earlier this year he would be front runner for rookie of the year but now he has to catch up with Gasol, Battier, and maybe Tinsley. You couldn't pay me to watch that Rookie/Sophomore game without EG in it.

There is one more spot open so he could still make the team. If you count there are 9 rookies on the team and 10 sophmores. I think Jefferson and Griffin will be added to the team later...

i think they should make it an all-rookie game again the way it was before. the only reason they changed it was cuz of the lockout but now they should change it back.

    here's what it should be

    west
    Eddie Griffin
    Pau Gasol
    Shane Battier
    Jason Richardson
    Andre Kirilenko
    Oscar Torres
    Vladimir Radmanovic
    Troy Murphy
    Tony Parker
    Jarron Collins

    east
    Jamaal Tinsley
    Joe Johnson
    Richard Jefferson
    Brendan Haywood
    Trenton Hassell
    Zeljko Rebracca
    Speedy Claxton
    Jason Collins
    Kwame Brown
    Tyson Chandler
