When Battier comes back who is going to be kicked out of the rotation? My guess is Barry will be the one that loses the most minutes. I hope we bring Artest of the bench. I know this has been discussed a million times, but I was just wondering what you all thought on how tight our rotation will be for the most part when our whole team is healthy. This is my take on the roation: Starters Rafer-20-30 min and finishing games if we need stops TMAC-35-40 min Battier-20-30 min Scola-20-30 min Yao-35-38 min Bench 6th-Artest-30-40 min and finshing games 7th-Brooks-24 min and finishing games if we need buckets 8th-Landry20-30 min and finishing games with good matchups I see this is our 8 man rotation. These players should play a good deal of minutes. Hayes and Barry will play atleast 5-10 mins a game each, and will play close to 20 min in some circumstances. We are in a great situation becuase of our depth. I hope we sign Deke later this year and Stevie can atleast be the 12th man. With the way Brooks and Landry have been playing, and the talent that Artest has, this has to be the best 8 man rotation in the NBA and the best three man bench as well. Call me a homer, I think this team can win 60 plus games this year when they get rolling.
What I think will happen is T-Mac will play less minutes. With the return of Battier look for the first substitution to be Aretest coming off of the bench to replace T-Mac. It will be like this untill T-Mac is 100% healed and Battier has gotten confidence in his ankle. So T-Mac will play 30-35 minutes and Battier playing closer to 20 minutes, with barry still in the rotation. Then when we get closer to the play-offs, T-Mac and Battier's minutes will increase. Also if we sign Dikembe, Landry's minutes will decrease.
with Battier back,we can have a more efficient rotation,Tmac may have some more time rest, for he dont need to play as small forward,Battier can do that.with battier on the court, our offense may be smooth more,Tmac at the strong point and Battier at weak point.I'm cant wait
