Why has there not been any real publicity on the YAO-SHAQ rivalry on tonights game?? The last game, the game that Shaq pussed out on, it was like every other commercial? Any ideas why this appears to be just another game to the networks?

    1. Last time Shaq was a no-show, so all this time, money, and effort was for something that didn't happened.

    2. NCAA Coverage

    3. War Coverage

I'm still surprised it's so under the radar. The last matchup was way too hyped. This one has barely even made a blip on the radar.

NCAA Coverage don't have crud to do with anything. It's all about the War. Everyone is tuned into that. Not too many folks will watch the game tonight because of that. And the few people who aren't watching the Lakers/Rockets game and aren't watching the War coverage, will be watching the NCAA.

good, the less media hype there is the less pressure there will be on Yao.

hopefully he was able to rest with his limited minutes against the Clips Sunday and last night.

Shaq scored 31 against ATL last night so hopefully he's a little tired.

Without the hype though, I'm not sure the Rox will come to play...

Let's hope a combo of Rudy's announcement and lack of hype don't make the Rox start out flat...

Unfortunately, Shaq didn't play most of the 3rd and the whole 4th quarter so I bet he'll be pretty fresh tonight. I watched the game and Kobe was incredible.. He kept popping 3's with guys right in his face. I hope he shot his load last night and doesn't bring that same game tonight or we're in trouble.

Maybe because the first time they met, they were both second fiddle to the Steve Francis show.

what are you guys talking about, im hearing all kinda crap about the yao shaqIII, even though they only played each other once.

and if you dont think the ncaa turney is not getting more press than the rox games tonight you need to turn your tv on. i mean all nba games get second fiddle when its march. why do you think they call it march madness???

one more thing the lakers are 7-8 on back to back games, and we (hoplefully) will be playing for more than a win, we will be playing for rudy.
