As many of you know, Rocketman95 and I work for an internet site, Swirve.com. We're launching a new service that I was hoping you guys might like to help us test. It's the Swirve Personality Test at: http://personality.swirve.com It's still in development, and we're still trying to get the scoring system down better. If you're interested in helping out, all we ask is that you take the test (takes about 5-10 minutes) and let us know here if your personality description matches you in reality. We still have to work a bit on the scales and such, so we're trying to find out how many people actually match what we think they are. There's also a compatibility system to measure your compatibility with friends, but that's still being put together, so we ask that you don't use that yet. Thanks for your help! ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
I took it and it was surprisingly not too far off from the way I really am. But who am I to say that a test can determine who I am? -Turbo
Counselor, although the levels on extroverted and thinker were lower than I'd rate myself. Also on some of the answers I could of selected both options. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
Healer, which is the same thing I get with the Keirsey test: idealist healer -- why not make the results more unique? There ae maites that use the same terminology... Many times my answer wanted to be "neither." ------------------ Big A, little a bouncing B, The System might have got you, but it won't get me. Huh. It just tells me, "You're an *******, Kagy" no matter what options I choose. ------------------ "Corpses are icky." --Chris Robinson
Thanks, guys! Lord Tree, Pole, and DeanBCurtis: Did the result seem pretty accurate for you? rimbaud: It's actually based on the Keirsey test in order to get some semblence of accuracy. We just try to add a little bit of "fun" to it by mixing in questions about real people and real-world situations, rather than things like "Are you drawn more to Fundamentals or Overtones?" The big question for us is how much accuracy did we lose by creating our questions and scale. The goal is to make it accurate enough that people enjoy taking it and sending it to their friends (this will be helped by the compatibility thing) so that it gets more word-of-mouth exposure to the site. BrianKagy: The test knows you well! (just kidding) ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
You can't fool The Test. ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
I'd say it's pretty accurate. What can I say: I'm a boring guy. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
Counselor. I am not too surprised. A few of the answers had to have answers or I wouldn't have choosed either. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
Shanna, In that case you were successful because mine was identical to the Keirsey result. The questions were much different, you are right... ------------------ Big A, little a bouncing B, The System might have got you, but it won't get me.
For those of you that took the test -- thanks for your help. Not being a truly scientific test, it's not going to be completely accurate, but I think we made some good progress. The test is now fully online, and there's a great new feature "Lisa's Opinion" if you go look at our description of you. You'll love it. If you had fun, link all your friends and you can see their personalities too. Help us get Swirve.com to take over the world. ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
I'm a "performer." Is that the best one to get ? Some of thsoe questions WERE tough. ------------------ "Roses are red. Violets are blue. I'm a schizophrenic and so am I."
It's Inspector for me. It seemed pretty accurate to me, though my ex-wife might disagree with the idea that I'd make an excellent husband. I'm not sure why I should care what this "Lisa" thinks, as she's quite obviously the same type of person that I spend much of my life trying to avoid. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
Mine came back mastermind and I would say that it was very accurate. ------------------ Someone who is about to admonish another must realize within himself five qualities before doing so (that he may be able to say), thus: In due season will I speak, not out of season. In truth will I speak, not in falsehood. Gently will I speak, not harshly. To his profit will I speak, not to his loss. With kindly intent will I speak, not in anger. -from the Vinaya Pitaka
I'm a champion. shanna, tell Lisa to bite me. ------------------ Good night everyone, Canadian or American. Just remember that we're all bound together by basketball, the internet and the mullet. (My attempts at trying to sooth over an international incident).
