    Great forum here guys.

I've watched quite a few Clipper games being from LA. This guy is a triple-double waiting to happen. He has all the ability in the world, but of course that's not enough. He does not bring his A game often enough. One game he is playing like #32 (maybe I'm going too far...), the next he is happy to shoot ill-advised outside shots all game long.

He delivers the ball to the post quite well, has a decent post up game (although seldom used), is a very good finisher, and can bring the ball up with ease. Not a great outside shooter *yet*. Work ethic is sketchy and of course he needs to kick the pot habit. I've heard no news on his wrist, hopefully it will not be an issue. He can play 1-3 spot.

He needs to work on 1) strength and conditioning, 2) outside shooting, 3) attitude <--- sounds like the every NBA player needs to work on at least 2 of the 3 mentioned...

That being said, I wouldn't trade him and a #8 for the #1 to get Williams. Maybe a #12 but the draft this year is deep and the optimal picks for the Clips would be Wagner and Hilario (but likely the Euro c/pf and Hilario, Wagner being long gone).

So do you think Odom is any good and the proposed trade would help the Rockets?

PS. I'm not a Clipper troll, more like a Laker one to be honest. hehe.

I we intend to go with Ming (and that seems to be the case with all of the positive bews from China lately), I wouldn't trade the 1 for Odom and the 8 or 12. I think Odom would help us since we are weak at the 3 but not so much that I'd be willing to give up a shot at Ming for him.

If you want to talk KT and the 15 for Odom, I would listen...but Im not so sure the Clipps would.

Kenny Thomas and #15? No way. :)

The Clips already have an undersized 4 but but with massive wingspan and heart. Hopefully a perenial All-Star (this would be no question if he were still in the East).

I was pissed when Houston nabbed Thomas before West could pick him, but we did ok w/o him...

But checking out NBAdraft.net, they have Nick and Nene going 4 and 5 now! Damn, their stock has skyrocketed lately.

Well I hear the Clips think this Jaric is going to be amazing. We'll see.

I like Odom. Not as much as MING but he seems ok.
If we can get him and Ming fine.
If we can get him without sacrificing
    Francis, Ming, Griffen, or Cuttino

    I'm with it.
