Mine is the Discover Channel, by far: Monster Garage - The show that really started my interest. These guys are nuts. Some of the stuff they build is really bad ass. American Chopper - By far my favorite show on TV right now. Love to see those guys argue. Jr. is one of the most talented fabricators that Ive ever seen. Love all of their bikes. Mikey is my new favorite person the show. American Hotrod - Follows the same theme as American Chopper. If you like classic cars and hot rods, you have to check this show out. I actually met Boyd Coddington at a show in Dallas several years back. His work is top notch. Monster House - My 2nd favorite show. As a husband of a realtor, I just laugh when I watch these people ruin their resale value. Cool houses though!! Rides - Someone had to give Jason Priestly a job. There are some bad ass cars on this show. Especially loved the first show talking about the new Chelby Concept car. Unsolved History - Didnt like this show much at first, but now Im really into it. Ive always loved history and seeing these guys tackle history with science is very interesting to watch. Extreme Engineering - Hasnt been on much lately. But its amazing to learn how the impossible can become possible. Favorites: The bridge over the Straits of Gibraltor; The bridge connecting Alaska and Russia; The Freedsom ship (10 times the size of a normal cruise ship with an airport on top of it!!) MythBusters - This has to be the most underrated show on TV. Adam and Jaime are too of the weirdest people youll ever see. They sure know their stuff though. I especially loved the one where the put the PopRocks & Soda myth to the test. Based on these shows, I find myself tuned into Discovery Channel whenever the Rockets arent playing. Whats your favorite channel??
Monster House is one of the craziest shows I have ever seen. Every time I watch, I find myself saying, "Why would you ever do that?" although turning a house into a medievil castle was pretty cool!
nuthin but Spice Channel....sucka. man...i don't know..tough question. i'm going with WB39 because every freaking night i get Seinfeld twice. are you kidding me?? seinfeld twice??!!! right before I go to bed?? huh??? what??? is that any good???
Max, Dont forget TBS. They have Seinfeld on at 5:30 and 6. Friday nights, they have it at 7 and 7:30 also. Thats 6 episodes of Seinfeld in one day!!! .......and people wonder why I know every episode by heart.
The owners are actually trying to sell that future house that was built, the one with the space ship in the foyer.... My favorite is probably the disco house.
that's true...it's just that i usually am not watching TV at 5:30 and 6...and at 7, if i'm watching, it's usually something with my wife and son....there's something about the late night seinfeld that i enjoy.
Yeah, I saw that last night. I liked how at the end, that realtor was showing those people that house and talking about how desirable the house would be now because its a novelty. Yet, 6 mos later, the house is still for sale. RE-SALE VALUE RUINED
Its never to early to get your boy started on his Seinfeld. Do you ever have to watch the Noggin Network?? *Codell hates Franklin, Maisy, Little Bear, Bing & Bong, AND The Tweenies*
actually, he used to laugh out loud even as a baby every time he saw George...that's when I knew my kid was a freaking genuis! (actually, i'm serious...he would laugh at George, and that cracked me and my wife up!) ahhhh..yes...maisy. the annoying voice-over on that show kills me! i read franklin books to my son pretty regularly.
I can't pick just one, so I will list several. PBS ESPN Classic TCM (great movies, no commercials like AMC) Encore True Stories Trio BBC America Comedy Channel Sundance Channel
Thats the thing. The songs from those kid shows get stuck in your head. My wife was making dinner (ok, ordering pizza) last night and she started on the "here comes Franklin ...commen over to play-hay ......here he comes, with all his friends......". I thought I was going to have to kill her.
you're right!! they are addictive...i will find myself randomly singing one of those songs around the office.
