If I could find a place that had really good Mex with really good Cajun with really good Thai, I'd pick up the family and move tomorrow.
New Orleans has decent enough Mexican food and passable/good Thai to go along with the obvious. My favorite is Italian but the good stuff can be pretty pricy. Mexican would be a very close second.
Ever since I got sick off of Taco Bell, I stopped eating Mexican Food... so I had to go with the good old arabian food, with chinese and italian tied for a close second.
Taco Bell is not Mexican food. As far as Italian, I just get sick of it. Besides pizza (which is probably my favorite food) how many things can you mix with different kinds of pasta and still pass it off as a variety of food? It's the same dish, recycled, with different meats and vegetables. Don't buy into the Italian lie. Chinese food is great, by the way, but my vote goes to Mexican.
It depends on what kind of Italian place you go to. Many of them have a great selection of chicken, lamb, veal(well not so much anymore) and seafood.
i put mexican food but then i thought about how much i love bbq and steaks and baked potatoes and hot dogs and french fries and hamburgers and american pizza. i put american pizza for a reason because i dont like italian pizza as much. i love how we have bastardized it.
ooooooooooooh....i also forgot about cajun too! damn i should quit talking about food and go eat something. im hungry.
i guess not then, but the thought of mexican food just reminds me of taco bell, and hence i dont eat it any more...
Nothing beats a perfect Chicken Fried Steak.... Cept maybe Cajun food...mmm cajun.... Mexican is right up there too
Tex-mex is my favorite food, but I can't say it is actually better than Thai, Indian, or Cajun food. I am in serious withdrawls here in a place (New Zealand) where you can't get even Taco Bell-level mexican food. My Old El Paso mexican dinners that I whip up would blow away the one mexican food joint here. Oh the humanity! On happier culinary note, I am a new convert to Middle Eastern food..kebabs, hummus and tabouli rule!
