This has been a bad week or so around these parts. I have 3: 1. A young mother was found in a barrell in the Haw River having been missing since mid-March. She was 8 1/2 months pregnant. The police have arrested her boyfriend. No Laci Peterson is she, apparently 2. Five young people between the ages of 12 and 17 were killed when their car traveling at some 90 MPH went out of control and hit a tree. 3. A Sheriff's deputy was killed by a man he had gone to arrest on a misdemeanor charge. The police say that the man would have been out of jail in 48 hours. They are baffled as to why the man wrestled the officer's revolver from him and shot him point blank in the chest. This coming Sunday would have been the officer's 42nd birthday. He leaves behind a wife and two children, I believe.
This didnt make the news because it was up in an airplane. Last night i had a flight back to NC from Houston and we had a Girls Gone Wild camera man on it. He was trying to get girls to flash for him. Haha, r****d.

That sure as hell has me thinking now! ! ! I have had an ulcer that has been bleeding off and on for 2 years now, and I have not been to the Dr regarding it since I was diagnosed. I had no clue they could ever be life threatening.

The details are still sketchy since he lives in a totally different state than my family (we're half brothers - dad's side). For about 20 years he's had issues with alcohol. He'd often not eat for days just so that the effects of a drink would be that much greater on him. We think that his heart's taken so much abuse that it couldn't handle the blood loss. I haven't really seen my half brothers much since my grandmother died 8 years ago. I did have great memories of him when I was a kid, and even when I last saw him (a year ago), we hung out and had good times. I wasn't planning on bringing it up on the bbs, it just sort of came out in this thread... I feel the most sadness for his 13 year old daughter, she's lost a very close aunt to cancer and her father in less than 15 months time...
oh no man, damn. I can kind of relate to that 13 year old girl.. My girlfriend's half sisters-half sister is 16, her mother has been in jail all her life, her dad is disable, she has to stay home 24/7 and take care of him. She's in the 9th grade, she has been held back twice, and she is struggling in school with no close family to help her. So shes pretty much alone. I feel so much for those people. And I thought my life was bad. People take so much for granted these days. I'm very guilty of it.
