Gotta give Sammy some love. Granny, too.

Let's keep the 'R's', Robert Reid and Rodney Mc in our hearts! And Allan Leavell, Scottie, Bull...and Chuckie!

Give me Buck "The Blade" Johnson any day. Do you remember his jump shot? That thing was ugly with the little hitch he had in it. Looked like he was having a seizure.

    C- Moses Malone
    PF- Hakeem
    SF- Clyde Drexler
    SG- Calvin Murphy
    PG- Steve Francis

Bench- Barkley, John Lucas, Cuttino Mobley, Elvin Hayes

This would be a fun team to watch.

I remember the day we got Buck. I thought he was our next starting
guard! You know. The ONE! The guy that was going to help us win it all.
Harris wasn't the man, that's for sure (although he had some moves).

Buck had two really good seasons. Then, he faded.

The only guard we really had that could tear it up was Sleepy Floyd (during
    the 80's).

A good trivia question would be: "How many times did sleepy Floyd and Hakeem
score 40+ each, in the same game?"

And "What was another players name that score 40+ with Hakeem, other
    than Sleepy?"

Sleepy Floyd put up some good numbers at GS. He didnt do too badly here either.

Answer to your trivia: Only once that I can remember. Playoff game against Dallas in 1987 or 1988.

Clyde Drexler also scored 40 in the same game as Hakeem. I believe against Utah in the playoffs?

Derrick Chevious starting AND coming off the bench? Pretty versatile player...

In fact, I might be wrong, but the time that Hakeem and Floyd scored 40+ in a playoff game and the time that Hakeem and Clyde scored 40+ in a playoff game are the only time its happened. I might be wrong though. Hmmmmmm.

Well, when Hakeem/Cylde scored 40+ they play-by-play guys says
something like, "The last time that that happened was when Hakeem
    and Sleepy were playing together..."

So, I don't think it happened more than once for Hakeem/Sleepy.

Well I meant has any OTHER team in history had two players score 40+ points in the same game in the playoffs.

I know the Rockets have done it twice. But Im thinking that those are the only two times its happened in playoff history for the whole NBA. Like I said, I could be wrong though.
