    So, is the point supposed to be that if this woman had access to a morning after pill, she wouldn't have fed her baby to the dog?

    Personally, it doesn't sound to me like she would've been willing to go through the process necesary to use the morning after pill even if it had been available. (You can't just go to the drugstore and buy a bottle of morning after pills. This particular drug requires several doctor's visits and a perscription. As a matter of fact, as it stands now, the morning after pill seems to be more involved time-wise than a traditional abortion.)

    The day after pill. Think how hard it is for someone to see their own child in their arms and then throw it to a dog. Think of the mental and emotional scars that would leave. Someone who kills their baby should have to suffer that. Anyone can take a pill and try to rationalize, "I might not have even been pregnant." or "It is just a collection of cells, its not a person." Since the end result is the same, I would say don't let the teen mother off easy. Finally, a person can be punished for killing a child after birth, unfortunately, if the baby is still in the womb the law protects its murderer.

    Sorry guys, it was a horrible story and a worse title (that I gave for the thread).

    mrpaige, there was no real point... I was merely floored when I read this. This girl will be heralded as a victim by liberals since she takes care of her mother and little sister but I...

    nevermind, I have no idea what to say about this.
