This question is far to general to cater to everyone, I just wanted a majority opinion on this board. If you can comment after voting it would make it better. I know the classic response is "It depends." For the purpose of this poll just think about the most painful break-ups you have been through and use that as a base.
after a hard night of drinking and waking up the next day you walk into the shower and....there is something of hers.... baww thread.
The case where i got dump unexpectedly and not vice versa? I got to say that I saw it coming in all of my breakups. Thus, I was fully prepared for a change in my future plans, knowing someone else was in my SO's future, and yes the lack of "intimacy".
Jesus christ. I read all those options and I can't figure out which one is worse. I'm actually kinda bummed now, too. Thanks, OP, I had only just gotten over it. Assh*le.
im a little surprised that this is leading the charge...i mean, i guess it would depend on if you wanted to break up with that person or not. I mean, why would you care if you broke up with her?
In my case it was because I broke up with her for logical reasons such as conflicting personalities and her lack of maturity, even though she was uber hot and incredible in the sack. This was my vote as well.
i have been with the same person for just about 14 years we got together when i was 19 and she was 20 if we were to not make it, it would be the thought of someone else with her
Certainly it would be the feeling of pity directed at my former lover. The thought of her spending the remaining years of her life without the "Staff of raj", brings great me anguish.
Where is the all of the above answer? The best thing you can do is move on and hope to find someone else.
