What's the scariest thing thats ever happened to you?

a fat kid pushed/fell on me on the bleachers in HS when I tried to catch a plastic ball thrown from the cheerleaders, my spinal cord hit the bleacher and was paralyzed for 5 secs thought I was gonna die.

Im not HOOD enough to get robbed yet.

I was with a friend of mine who thought it would be cool to turn his stereo system up really loud (subwoofers, etc) as he passed his ex-girlfriend's house while she was outside with her current boyfriend and a group of his friends.

The current boyfriend and his friends were either in a gang or belonged in a gang because they had old-english style tattoos everywhere. The street itself was a dead-end street with a cul-de-sac. As we were rounding the cul-de-sac I could see the group of guys walking out into the street. I knew we were in for some trouble.

In order to cut a long story short, I had a gun pointed at me and was threatened that if I showed my face anywhere near the girl's house again that I would be shot. The same warning was given to my friend and the current boyfriend hit him in the mouth while he was sitting behind the steering wheel. Luckily, I didn't receive that same treatment. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed off at my friend for the little stunt he pulled. Something a lot more serious could have happened because he was trying to show-off.

Nothing serious, a few car accidents, one or to instances of road rage, my house got robbed back in HS, and I've had 2 major surgeries in the past few years. Nothing has happened to me to make me genuinely fear for my life. And for that I'm thankful.

 

Got hit in the side of the head with a small uprooted tree my friend was swinging around like a baseball bat. A large knot/protrusion in the wood hit me high on the cheek... a little farther left and I could've been blind in one eye... a little farther right and I could've been dead.

As it turns out, all that happened was it hurt like a b*tch, bled a lot, and I have a big scar where the knot hit.

 

Dang...that's my Cicis when I'm in H-town.

My most frightening experience was getting robbed at gunpoint.

 

my mom works for the company that owns that cici's and some others..
I know theyre gonna be installing all kinds of new security type **** soon..

 

when i was in Mexico like 2 years ago i was climbing up this mountain or something like that i think in spanish they are called "cerros" and i wasn't literally climbing but theres a path that you have to walk all the way up to the top and on the way back down its extremely steep... i slipped and if i had not been wearing good shoes i would have fallen to my death

Hindsight type fear - My throat bleeding after tonsil surgery and driving myself to the emergency room.

In Hindsight it was pretty foolish and I could have bled to death
d*mn near did because the hospital i went to did not have an ENT Specialist
and I had to goto another hospital
Being silly . . I thought I'd save my self 200$ and drive.
I got up . . .took two steps. . and busted my *ss.
I was so delirious and weak from blood loss.

I am all good now. . . but looking back . . . scary

I obliterated my left knee just moving a table and slipping. Later my doctor tells me there was a decent chance that it will never heal and I'd be wheelchair bound forever. ****ing scared the **** out of me for months until I started walking.

Dont think I can ever do any athletics again but it gives you an appreciation for basic things that we take for granted.

 

Worst was dad having quadruple bypass surgery.

second worst was auto-pedestrian accident on 6th street during college. ******* hit me when the light turned green and then drove off, left me there with a concussion.

Lucky I was with friends. That ******* made me miss Mardi gras because of bleeding into my brain.

 

When the doctor told us my grandfather had only a week to live at most. The fear didn't last long though, because he died that night. I doubt anything will scare me that much again.
