What's the record for lowest scoring performance in a two game stretch?

I'm just curious because it's taken the Rockets 7 quarters just to total 100 points in this recent two game stretch. By the looks of it, it would appear the Rockets will struggle to even reach the 60 point barrier this game. And before anyone mentions the low scoring games when there was no shot clock, that's not what I'm talking about. These guys are putting up college number game points, and it's out right sickening to watch as a fan. Hell the Suns are on pace to score over 44 in under two quarters, where as it's taken the Rockets three quarters just to get that far. My spirit to root for this team is crushed right now, because I see no signs of hope for them. I still think this team will suceed in the near future and will be contenders given time, but right now, all I'm asking for is to see atleast a few signs of a very slowly maturing contender and I've seen none in these two games. Not even in a single play, whether it be from hustle, defense, setting a nice pick and roll, or taking a charge, just something to root for.

I've been skeptical about canning our assistant coaches but I'm crossing lines here. I've seen so man substitutes this season where we had a hot player in a quarter score 15 points, then not see action for the rest of half, killing our momentum. In fact, last night that's exactly what happened. Smith subbed out Posey, and put too many of our benchwarming scrubs in the game, and let the Blazers creep back into a lead, with all the momentum in their favor, never letting us get back into the game. Last night wasn't the first time I've seen that either. It almost seems our coaching staff punishes productivity out of our players when they get hot. That's outright sickening. Nevermind the fact that this time went back to ISOing almost every damn play, and letting our team run around without any offensive structure.

Nevermind that our offensive structure doesn't align with our players strengths even when we are organized. Let me give you an example. We dump the ball into Yao, and have MoT giving the inbound pass while sitting around on the perimeter, while the rest of our perimeter shooters are stuck on the other side of the corner. Hello? You want your rebounding poor perimeter shooting power forward making the inbound pass, and sitting there while the play is run? Or would you want him positioned under the basket ready to cling to any missed shot taken, while having the likes of Rice, Mobley, or Francis providing perimeter scoring and making the inbound pass in case Yao dumps the ball out around the perimeter. It's that kind of common sense offensive structure that isn't run that frustrates me. The Rockets make winning a game much harder then it has to be for themselves. That's my rant, but I could give a billion examples of how the Rockets make scoring difficult on themselves.

I've been a born and raised Rockets fan for as long as I can remember, and I always will be, but as it is now, I've lost any hope of this team to not only get miss the playoffs, but make fools of themselves in the process. I'll see you guys next season and hope for improvement from this team in the offseason.

I'll be damned, I go to check scores real quick and we've actually scored over 70. So we're on pace to score around 130 in two games. Hell the Mavericks or Kings have probably scored that in 4 quarters this season.
