I'm curious to see what people think is the most exciting way for a game to end among the three most popular American Sports (NFL,NBA,MLB)

My personal favorite is the Walk Off Home Run. Nothing compares to 2 outs 2 strikes bottom of the 9th all hope is lost until one swing of the bat ends the game and sends a once somber crowd into sheer madness.

But you have to also give credit to Buzzer Beating Shots, and Game Winning Field Goals/Touchdowns.

Baseball is my least favorite of the big three sports, but there is something about a walk off HR that makes it the most exciting moment in sports to me.

Part of it with the walkoff home run too is that there haven't been 5 timeouts taken in the final 2 minutes of the game. Close NBA games are ****ing boring due to the amount of down time at the end.

Game winning TD or Walk off HR. Buzzer beaters aren't exciting anymore, maybe because I've lost interest in basketball in recent years that and how many commercials they play and how many timeouts they take to even get to a buzzer beater moment.

Game winning TDs are the best though, FGs are alright but nothing special. I prefer seeing the WR, RB or the QB celebrate rather than a kicker.

What I like about baseball compared to the NFL and NBA is that there is no time limit set on the game.

The other team can't run the clock out or consistently get fouled.

No matter the score or setting of the game the pitcher is going to have to make HIS pitch and get the batter out.

gotta go with buzzer beater because the drama in getting the ball in, getting open, getting the shot off and the madness of the crowd if it goes in.

Pitt vs. AZ was better, imo.

This is the aspect I most love about baseball. No fouling. No timeouts. There is generally a guy with serious heat or serious filth on the mound. August 4, 1996, is one of my favorite ends to a baseball game. The Astros have a rookie pitcher on the mound in the ninth who gets himself into a jam with bases loaded and a 1 run lead. Barry Bonds steps to the plate with Matt Williams on deck. Luckily that rookie pitcher was Billy Wagner. Two strikeouts later, the game was over.

Both were great games, but the fact that New England was going for perfection is what made it even better.
