Just curious...I wore Rockets red in the Alamodome...and Astros colors in what was then called The Ballpark at Arlington. Both of which were pretty minor league as far as cojones go.

So what would be a real test of manhood...A Chiefs jersey in McAfee Colosseum, Astros jersey in the bleachers at Wrigley in a tight pennant race. Landon Donovan US National Team jersey in Stadium Azteca. (or you know a US stadium in a city with a large Mexican population).

I like to live dangerously where should I go as kind of an urban survivor test. Bonus points if I can support a Houston team or US team.

I heard Philly fans aren't too kind to opposing teams' fans. Wear a Texans jersey at the Linc next year when we play the Eagles.

If they can boo Santa Claus then you should get the royal treatment.

I heard a story somewhere about a female fan getting punched in the face at a Philadelphia Eagles playoff game because she had on a jersey of the other team.

I've heard Oakland Raiders games can be pretty brutal for opposing teams fans too.

My dad is from El Salvador. One thing he mentioned to me long ago that stuck with me was how civil we Americans are in that fans of opposing teams can sit next to each other at games without serious repercussion. This didn't happen at soccer games were he was from. If you do that (text in bold) you'd be risking more than severe mocking from opposing fans.

Anyone who wears a Michigan jersey in Columbus. End of story. Ohio State fans are freaking neanderthals.

I got punched at Yankee Stadium after an Interleague loss. We were wearing our Astros gear and got heckled.

6 Astros threw an historic no-hitter the next night.

    b****es.

I wore an Astros hat to Wrigley. No one said a thing. Wrigley and its fans are ridiculously overrated.

I wore Blue Jays clothing to Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field, as well as to games in Milwaukee, Tampa, Houston, San Francisco, Anaheim and Seattle. Never had a single problem. Even at Yankee Stadium, we were tastefully applauding when the Jays won and nobody gave us a hard time at all.

However, before the game in New York, the subway info guy wasn't going to give us directions to the stadium at first because of our Jays hats. :p He later took pity on us and helped us out, however. New Yorkers in general were very friendly and helpful.

No first hand experience, but I'm gonna say Philly is the worst possible place in the US for an opposing fan.

Wearing a Broncos jersey to a Raiders game in Oakland. I've heard story about Denver fans being urinated on in the restroom and having beer poured on them in the stands.

Considering the seething rage on moes19's face even when the state of Colorado is brought up, I'm absolutely not surprised.

I dare somebody to wear another NFC East team's jersey in the Linc besides the Eagles. Like Tony Kornheiser said, "I allowed my son to go to a Washington game in Philadelphia only if he wore an Eagles jersey." LOL! :D

I dare you to walk into a bar in Liverpool wearing a Manchester United jersey and stay there for 30 minutes without getting mugged.

I remember the Raiders-Dolphins playoff game from back in 2000. Raiders won 27-0, but that didn't stop some Dolphins fans from getting it pretty good, there were stories after of some poor b*stard in a Zach Thomas jersey getting knocked down and pissed on in the bathroom or something.

I've been to a couple games at McAfee and didn't see an opposing jerseys in my immediate vicinity, but its safe to assume most of them are either sitting in really expensive seats, or in the upper deck.

The Black Hole is where you have to at least wear neutral colors, Chargers, Chiefs or Broncos is a good way to end up with at the least a beer-soaked jersey, if not a black eye. There are a good enough amount of Raider fans in San Diego that it doesn't really matter... but people have been known to get stabbed at Charger-Raider games.

granted they are not rivals.....but I went to the Texans-Raiders game in 2005.

I wore a Texans hat. no problems. The people next to us were very nice to me and my sister. I even confessed my undying love for the Kansas City Chiefs, and still they were very cool.

I got the feeling that the majority of the fans just really weren't pumped up about the Raiders at that time.

I think the reputation is a little inflated.... maybe when the Raiders are winning they have some passionate fans, but that place is about as loud as a funeral home lately... if anything, that rep makes me think less of the Raiders franchise.. which is something I didn't think was possible at this point.

    Stabbing people over football... please
