Besides a Tempur-Pedic, what's the most comfortable mattress? Is Memory Foam any good? Any advice on where to buy a good one? Thanks
Did you get a topper or the mattress? Where did you get yours from? Thanks for the input to the both of you
We have a Select Comfort adjustable mattress. Very comfortable. BTW ...if anyone is looking for a super firm king sized mattress (Simmons Beautyrest), I am selling one.
Ok, I'm going to go ahead and buy an original Tempurpedic matress (only) today. My ex-gf had one, and it was awesome. I've done research all day on their competitors, but there are just too many question marks about knock-offs. The biggest one is that the competition just doesn't stand up over time. Regardless of warranty, it's hard to do a return a year later when it starts to pancake out under my 220 lb arse. Prices are firm at $1,499 for an original king sized mattress only, but I am going to try to get some pillows as freebies and free delivery. I also confirmed that they will cut out sales tax with either a Chiropractor script for back issues or a MD script for allergies (which I happen to have. ). I'll post back with the final price later on.
I've had a tempurpedic matress for about a month and a half. It took me a day to get used to it, but now I'm REALLY loving it!!!
I am looking for a great bed. How much are the select comfort beds and is it really worth paying that much more for it rather than buying a traditional mattress?
I agree. We got one a few months ago. Now, if I come home from work and make the mistake of laying on the bed, I'm out in a minute or two. It has the added benefit of no springs, which means the kids hate it because they can't jump on the bed anymore.
Since youre spending the majority of your life sleeping, you might as well invest in a really good one. We bought a king-size bed and a tempur-pedic mattress. We really love it and its probably one of our best purchases, ever .
