Ok so were a good team, and were supposed to be wrecking other teams with ease, but don't you think we need some fans in the stands to uplift out team....Every home game the lower bowl is almost half empty!!!! That is pathetic...we as houston fans need to put aside our pissed offness and get out there to support our team.....A LOUD home crowd makes all the difference in the world

Tickets in the lowerbowl are way too expensive. More important things in life to put your money towards then lowerbowl tickets to a basketball game.

If the Rockets can't put a quality product on the floor, this is what you get. I'm not going to piss my time and energy away for a group of guys who openly don't care. I always purchase tix to at least a dozen games, and add to that if they're doing well. On the flipside, it wasn't that long ago that I couldn't convince friends to join me for free (the trainwreck season under JVG).

We need to pump them up as friends, but they also owe us and have to earn it.

And yes, prices are extremely high.

arent most of the seats in the lower bowl for corporate sponsors ? and they give the tix to employees ? so they can use it or not....

and i would hope that most of them are in the building but theyre inside the bar or whatever

Yeah, last time I checked sub .500 teams were not considered good.

It's not like people are saying, "Damn! I cannot wait to go watch the Rockets play some mediocre basketball tonight!"

Plus we live in Houston where everyone beats it to baseball and football.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again. 'Down with the Club Section!'
I had season tickets there when the TC opened but since relocated for a couple of reasons...
-I got tired of some suits breaking their necks to eyeball me for...*gasp* cheering, while they sat on their hands or sipped wine.
-The nostalgia of the private bar, flat tv's, and gourmet stadium food wears off after a while, after all Im going there to see the game, and I can eat somewhere much better and more affordable before or after the game if I want to entertain. If they want to entertain let them go sit in the Red and White Restaraunt.

Even I myself give my tickets to clients at times and write them off as a business expense, but lets face it, the Club Section is for the business exec who has the company card for the night and only cares about entertaining that fat account rather than the outcome of the game.

Let the coorporate schmoes go back to the titty bars, and give the Rockets back to whom they belong, THE FANS!

Yes, faulty premise. Would you watch a bad show? A bad movie? Why pay money to watch a bad team?

It's not so much that I won't pay money to watch a bad team. I just refuse to shell out money for tickets, parking, and gas money to watch a team that with the exception of a few players doesn't seem to give a sh-t.

I even had tickets to the Pistons game and I still didn't go. It's not even about the money. It's about the product.

Why should I waste my time and go to the game when it seems like the players themselves don't want to be there? Why should I go and waste my time to go watch players give a half assed effort?

When they decide to play as professionals and try hard, I'll glady pay money to go watch them. Win or lose, I'll go if I feel the players are putting up an effort. Hell I had season tickets in the Francis years because they at least played with intensity and heart every game (even though we lost).

Until this current team shows me they want to be out there playing, I'm not going out there to support them.

Fans will pay as spectators to see great entertainment/sport only if the product is decent.
If Les is hit in the pocketbook then he will be forced to do something about the team and coach. :p
