I just started a new job and was curious how my benefits stack up. The one thing we have is an amazing employee match on our 403b. I put in 3% pretax and they match 15%. After that I can put in 4% post tax and they will match another 2% for a total match of 17%! Really adds up quickly when you putting in a quarter(24%) for every dollar you're making.

It's a really smart program because you're not fully vested for 5 years so you don't get to keep all of that match unless you stay around. Since this is New Mexico and there are no jobs most people have been here for a long time.

Does anyone else have a match like this?

Who's got the company car, free sports tickets, skyboxes, etc.?

the company I hope to join in the next month or so puts in 20% of your salary (on top of getting paid your full salary) towards a retirement account..without you contributing a dime. (You can contribute on top of that if you want) Looking forward to it!

And a TON of vacation time if you want it...and if you don't, you can just get paid for not taking it!

Company I consult at (but not for, so I won't benefit from this) will pay 100% of your medical bills if you work for them for 20 years.

My brother's company paid fhis student loans, bought him a truck in his name and pays for the insurance. Throw in company season tickets to the Astros, Rockets, Texans, and Dynamo.

    Yeah...he's never leaving that job.

At 4:20, work shuts down and Team Fortress 2 fires up! Also, paid lunches on MWF.

Free to post on cf.net also.

My wife deals with executives and her company provides $10,000 a year in clothing allowance and free use of a personal sylist/shopper.

Also, she's in a salaried position, yet collects comp time for every hour over 40 hours/week she works.

She's up to like 10 weeks comp time that she can take payable in cash if she wants or use as vacation (she's saving it for additional maternity).

I guess it could be considered that. Could be you never get any benefit out of it. But the likelihood is that you'll get a lot. Company also still has a pension plan. Pays 10% of your salary if you've worked there at least 5 years and goes up to 15% and beyond on some sliding scale. Can work out to be a pretty penny if you work 20 years. Pension and no medical bills.

My retirement isn't that bad. 8% of our salary is deducted automatically, and 25% of that is matched in the account. On top of that we can do 403B's but with no matching funds.

I do have to work 12 hour days most of the time, but make up for that with about 17 weeks of paid vacation a year.

I get free health insurance. They match dollar for dollar in my retirement fund. I get an ample amount of sick days and vacation. When I work holidays, I get paid time and a half as well as a 8 hours of holiday pay. I can use my holidays as vacation or sick days.
