His jersey number with the Clippers was 23. Obviously, with Calvin Murphy, he'll have to get a new one here. Not sure what yet.

Obviously you are a seasoned Rocket fan.....#23 was retired years ago. Remember Calvin Murphy?

Robert Reid wore #33 after Sampson arrived and took RR's #50 (RR was on sabbatical that year) and we went to the finals. Otis Thorpe wore #33 and we went to the finals. #33 doesn't seem to be too cursed!

    Rockets Retired Numbers -

    22 - Clyde Drexler
    23 - Calvin Murphy
    24 - Moses Malone
    45 - Rudy T

Francis wore #23 in college. I seem to remember someone asking him about letting Francis use it, with Calvin refusing by way of the usual narcissistic Murphy diatribe, so I really doubt he'd give it up for Mo.

Also, I believe Mo Taylor wore 33 at Michigan, but I could be wrong.

#17 should definitely be retired. Do not give that number to Mo.

Yeah because Francis asked for 23 but Calvin
said no. If he would have gotten 23 he would
have been compared to Jordan his hold career
so maybe that was a good thing. I think
Mo will get #32 or 35.

Anyone know what Mo's # was at Michigan?

Maybe a good omen would be 25 - right after Glyde, Calvin and MO(ses).

I remember last year Calvin saying to Bill that he would love to take his number down and let Stevie wear it.Maybe that was just on the air!

    Personally I like double numbers:88 or 44.

I say it ought to be 48. That's how many minutes you ought to bust your rear playing if called upon to do so. Barring overtime, that is.

Mo's number at Michigan was 23. I'm good at guessing what numbers the players will wear when there traded, and I guess Mo will wear number 32 or 20.

4 is a good number, or should we save it for CWebb?
