Philosophy of a Knife Synopsis The true history of Japanese Unit 731, from its beginnings in the 1930s to its demise in 1945, and the subsequent trials in Khabarovsk, USSR, of many of the Japanese doctors from Unit 731. The facts are told, and previously unknown evidence is revealed by an eyewitness to these events: former doctor and military translator, Anatoly Protasov. Part documentary and part feature, the story is shown from the perspective of a young nurse who witnessed many of the horrors, and a young Japanese officer who is torn between his sincere convictions that he is serving the greater purpose, and the deep sympathy he feels for an imprisoned Russian girl. His life is a living hell as he's compelled to carry out atrocious experiments on the other prisoners, using them as guinea pigs in this shocking tale of mankind's barbarity. Philosophy Of A Knife is truly one of the most violent, brutal and harrowing movies ever made.
people in china all know about this unit. infamous for doing live experiment with humans in china. i think their headquarter was somewhere in china. forgot where though. there are numerous films/documentaries about this unit in china.

First off, the cover of the first video is what I would consider NSFW, so it should at least be spoilered. Secondly, after reading about this stuff on wikipedia, I can't imagine wanting to see a movie about it, let alone own it. Thirdly, what's the true purpose of this thread? It sure ain't a happy funtime 'what DVDs do you own' topic.
I purchased John adams, not to be confused with the beer sam adams, from amazon. It's been 9 days, and I've yet to receive it! But that will be the newest collection to my shelf.
I'm sorry if i offended you in any way with that art cover of the dvd... I do own that dvd and many others... I just want to share my collection of dvds that i have on my shelf. If you want to borrow any dvd's let me know...
