With all the surfacing rumors that we might get Webber this offseason, i'm wondering how MO might be feeling... secretly does he feel saddend that the rockets won't resign him... or will he take this as a mental challenge and work harder to get resigned or improve his stock? ------------------
Who knows whether he has taken the Webber Talk to heart or is ignoring it but either way it seems with the way he has stepped up of late that he is just flat out playing for a decent sized contract. The point being the team is really out of his hands, but if he plays well some team will sign him and he will get paid a decent wage. ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
Regardless of how Mo feels about the Rockets and their hope that they will sign Webber, Mo is playing for a contract next season. I look for his good play of recent games to continue on to seasons end. And hey, I have no complaints. ------------------ "all your base are belong to us!" "you have no chance to survive make your time!"
thats what i'm hoping for.. with the way hes been playing i thikn he really deserves it.. and i 've developed a liking towards Mo and his vicious dunks (not including that point black layup he misseeed in the 3rd) ------------------
I think he's feeling a little pain in his Achilles' right now, but aside from that he's focussing on playing good basketball and helping his team get in the playoffs. ------------------ Founding Father of the Refs Suck Club
First, he is thinking about the Rockets and the puruit to the playoffs, second, He is thinking about his new home after the season since bigger, better, Webber will be the new man in town! ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
Let me combine Smeggy's and ROXRAN's statements: Mo's play will get us into the playoffs and impress Webber enough to take his job.
Merlin, just in case you haven't seen it, I thought Oeilpere's first post in the $80 million thread was very interesting. And quite a different take from what many people perceive as Mo's status with the Rockets. ------------------
