All of my cd's are packe dup since I just moved, so I've burned a lot of stuff in the last week, and cracked open the C-F box and pulled some stuff from the top.

    • Cave In - Until Your Heart Stops
    • Faith No More - Angeldust
    • The Arcade Fire - Funeral (best record I've heard all year)
    • Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey
    • Centro-Matic - Navigational

and on my home pc I've been listening to the Buffalo Springsfield box set, the Vic Chesnutt reissues, the upcoming Black Keys album, and the new Jonathan Richman record.

    edit:

    forgot
The Verve - A Northern Soul
The Melvins - Houdini and Stoner Witch (got them to fit on a single disc by editing out the noise tracks)
The Zombies - Discs 1 and 2 from the box set

I just want to go on record as saying I enjoy the occasional 'what's in the CD' thread because it helps me expand my exposure. I just can't hardly listen to Pop radio or NewRock radio where every song starts out slow and then crashes in with distorted power chords as the singer screams his angst. But if someone mentions something that sounds interesting here I can go get a free taste and then prorcure what I like.

I'm a Clapton, Little Feat, SRV, Steely Dan type but due to these threads I have hit on Maroon V, Fountains Of Wayne, Jet and Better Than Ezra stuff that I enjoy just as much as the old dudes.

    So carry on

    Oh...

    Lucky Peterson - Beyond Cool
    Subdudes- Miracle Mule
Roomfull Of Blues - That's Right
Sonny Landreth - The Road We're On
The Allman Brother's Band - Hittin' The Note
Jellyfish - Belly Button (thanks Jeff!)

Nope ... one of the Q.O.T.S.A. dudes is in the band, though I don't know how much he had to do with the writing. Quite stellar. Palmray has it, so I guess it's okay for you to check it out now. ;)
