Its from the THE Rocket Guy. I have no idea who the "insider" is that TRG is talking about but are own insiders state Steve will sign before the season starts. Whats the rush anyways. Steve is still signed for another year and this is an extension that starts NEXT year. Funny thing about that is we will not know what the salary cap numbers will be until June or July of 2003. That impacts what Steve will get paid during the extension ( max $$$ is 25% of the cap). If its from TRG..... Take it with a grain of salt.
