This guy really looks great moving off ball and hitting sweet shot after shot. I know it's early but how big of an effect do you think he can have this year? BTW I've been watching him since his college days and I think he can be a real spark of the bench for us in this offense if he can play decent defense.

I think he can average 10ppg in 15-20 minutes off the bench.
Maybe 3 assists. Definitely would add a lot to the offense, with his silky smooth catch and shoot.

    lol just playing...

    I really like the guy....

Great energy and he has a nice shot.

    17-25 minutes a game...

    13 to 17 points a game...

I think he will hit some game winning threes..

He looked pretty confident out there today..

As long as Ariza doesn't show attacking ability
i guess C-Bud have a chance to start instead of Battier/Ariza

Remember when we all got psyched about Greene scoring 40 in Summer League - this reminds me a bit of that.

One stellar scoring summer league game isn't nearly as impressive as a string of 6 consecutive games (summer + preseason) where you shoot nearly 70% from the field on mostly jumpers. Not to mention it has all been achieved within the system, through smart play and solid decision making.

At this point it's impossible to make a declaration about Chase, but I give him a much better chance of being a productive NBA player than I do Dante Greene.

Potential: about 2 to 3 threads on Chase in the 1st page of the GARM with one particular member endlessly comparing him to Brent Barry and officially replacing Von with him as the new mancrush

Budinger should crack the rotation this year, perhaps right off the bat. That's pretty impressive for a late second rounder. I can't see him starting over Ariza, Battier, or McGrady, but Ariza better learn how to handle the ball or he might find himself on the bench a bit more than he anticipated.

The one this I really love about him is his contract, 4 years, last two team options, can't beat that IF he pans out.

Backup SG....but he looks like an eventual starter in the league...so smart and so smooth.

    He was 7-10 tonight.

Hah, I have already transfered my mancrush to him, you are TOO late !
