We haven't had one of these threads in awhile but it is time for another "whatever happened to such and such". Two posters that I have not seen posting lately are MadMax and ima_drummer2k. They may have gotten really busy with their lives outside the BBS or they may be posting, just not in the Hangout. I don't know because I am not as regular posting like I used to but it seems like that MM and ima are not posting right now. Hope they are okay. Any others that people are wondering about?
MadMax got rather upset about a thread in the D&D last I knew. Have not heard from him since his adieu in that discussion.
Yea, that's too bad with Max. That right there is why I avoid the D&D. There are times I wish we didn't have it but then those threads would start popping up in the Hangout. You could always avoid them but the temptation is just too great for some people. Maybe a break will recharge him and he'll come back. I mean the guy has over 40,000 POSTS here so I can't see him staying away forever, lol. Does anyone know what happened to ima? I'm guessing he got busy with his job and just doesn't have time to post anymore (I don't think he posts at night and especially not now since he is married). I have also wondered if Fatty has been banned permanently. Also wondered about Trader_Jorge and bigtexxx. A poster recently told me that they think "Ronny" is actually Trader_Jorge. They might be onto something. I think it is obvious that "Shovel Face" is Mr. MEOWGI.
If 3814 was -StroShow-, anything is possible. I don't think Ronny is Trader_Jorge. I thought perhaps Nomar if anything for a small while.
I don't think ronny is trader, although both of them have a disdain for me that makes me wonder. I think ronny idicated he was born in the middle east in one thread. i really had become tolerable of trader over the last few years, just learned to not take it seriously and if you really try hard and ignore the machismo, you can actually appreciate the differing views. I hope that thread didn't run off max, first of all he started it. secondly, as much as some of the praise for him for his level headedness would be over the top sometimes, I mean we all have our hang ups, he does seem like a very mature down to earth person.
Yea, I think Ronny is more apt to be Nomar than TJ although in the past, Nomar's new handles usually don't last this long. I do think, though, that Ronny was someone who posted here in the past. Not only do I want to know what has happened to some people but I always find it interesting to guess posters and their old handles. A couple off my head (these don't include people who requested a name change like RM95 and Sir Jackie Chiles): Faos was Free Agent and also was Old School Shovel Face was Mr. MEOWGI Stupid Moniker was Hydra vinsanity was Troy McClure and also Desert_Rocket and I think someone else? Now these are ones that I have suspected but do not have 100% confirmation on. There is another and I was told yes that I was right but I won't post it because this poster probably wouldn't want their cover blown. However, I think it is fairly obvious to figure out who he was if you have really paid attention to his posts. Another poster I miss is Jeff but he hasn't posted here in ages.
I got into it with him during that thread about pranking the Christian call-in show. That thread had devolved into a bunch of religious bashing that should have been moved to D&D. Fatty decided to come in late and start spewing pretty vile insults directed at Moes and FB. Those were way over the line, and are among the worst things I've seen posted on this board. The Crew just deleted the entire thread, which I can't blame them for. Fatty hasn't posted since then, so I'm assuming a ban of some sorts. I don't know if it's permanent.
