The forgotten man in this Olympics must have been Emeka Okafor. He was drafted as a Center and played center at UConn, but even with Duncan in foul trouble and Okafor known for his defense he remained on the bench while Larry used Amare Stoudamire. Amare is not even a center, and he certainly did not scare any of the teams he came in against. Is it possible that Okafor is maybe not as skilled as everyone thought? A number 1 or 2 draft choice is supposed to be an impact player who can start in the NBA right out-of-the-box. What goes?

amare was hardly used throughout the tourney. lebron was amonst the best swingmen the team had, and his minutes were limited. its because Larry Brown hates using youngsters and emeka was the most inexperienced of the bunch. if they wanted to use an undersized pf....they had other choices in odom and boozer.

I wanted to see Okafor get some time while Duncan was on the court too. Duncan had no help at all down low. If Okafor could've established himself down low Duncan wouldnt have been double and triple teamed so much. Brown never really gave him much of a chance.
