Can people who watched the game tonight describe his effort tonight... his good plays, his bad plays, his movements, etc... Thanks!
i dont know if there is much to report. it looks like he hasnt played basketball in a while. he made some nice plays. couple of nice boards. he dropped a nice pass and it was stolen away. he stayed with it and forced a lakers turnover. that was a real nice play... am i missing antying?
I didn't watch any of the second half. I still think JVG shouldn't have played him. But with all the foul troubles, I guess he had no other choice.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2006121210 5 minutes, 2 rebs, 1 ast, 2 TOs, and 3 fouls. As for his movements, ask his proctologist.
He didnt play much, but from what I saw. He missed defensive rotations, well at least someone did while he was on the court, because there were alot of wide-open shooters while he was on the court. He pretty much looked lost out there. IMO.
few rebounds (kinda just fell in his radius so they were gimme re's) a nice assist to yao, 3 fouls and a forced TO on cook. eh, I hope he sees why jeff equated good conditioning = good playing. i see some hope for him though, and i hope he gets more time to practice and share more minutes. his scrappiness coulda really helped if he played with the super scrub/star lineup tonight.
Hopefully he will bust his ass in practice so he can stay in the rotation. We need his scoring, rebounding, and attitude...
He lost alot of weight, he made a really good pass to Yao for a dunk. I say if he can stay away from the McRibs and Chicken Selects he'll be a great fit, he has to get used to the defensive scheme and offensive rotations he had to be told where to be at but once he got the ball he did some good things wit it one turn over was a bs call imo. so for 5 mins 2 rebs 1 assist and 1 turnover isnt that bad... hopefully after a week or so he'll get into the flow of things and t-mac will be feeling better. I think the 4 games in 5 days took a toll on his body.
The Rockets fell apart with him in there. It was the start of the big Laker run. JVG pulled him out then we just continued on the downward spiral. We almost made a legendary comeback but it was not to be. He has a lot of work ahead of him. Bonzi watching his 6 minutes on film will benefit him greatly.
had a good assist, tried to hustle, but overcompensated and either turned if over or fouled. Was completely lost out there since he doesn't know any of the team plays, but at least he had some energy. It will take time, but right now we have little choice, he has talent and hustle and we need that now.
