I know that the class of '90 ruled, but what were others?

You coming out for Saturday's game?

(and we already know which school "ruled". That's why I didn't bother with a poll) :D

Assuming we're referring only to one's party years...

I might agree...but '81 could beat it out for me.

I vote for the Summer of Love, from which I was too young to benefit.

Out of the '90s I would vote for '91. "Alternative music" was breaking out etc. and I turned 21 years old. It was a good time.

Thanks to the Rockets '94 & 95' were preety cool though. After '95 it all went downhill imo.

'92 ruled... it was my class year (" '92 is in the house", as we used to say). Let's see: academic decathlon, senior recital, graduation, and going down to Houston and getting started at Rice... pretty cool. Plus lots of good friends.

I liked all the years pretty well from 1989-1994, I guess. Nothing seemed to be as great after that, and some years don't even stand out at all.

Yeah. In retrospect, I should have added some 80's year in there, as well. Hell, I tried to skip a grade and could have been in the class of 89. Unfortunately, there's only 10 options, and I erred.

It's cool... no harm done, as long as the 'Stros bring home the Championship this year. ;)

1994 was the freakin' year man. I wish I was older then because the music was SO damn good then. PURPLE by Stone Temple Pilots, NEVERMIND by Nirvana, DOOKIE by Green Day, SUPERUNKNOWN by Soundgarden, 311 by 311, JAR OF FLIES by Alice In Chains, WEEZER (Blue Album) by Weezer... other good stuff I'm not thinkin' of - wow that year was so great for music. I wish I coulda appreciated it more.

Then, of course, the first Rockets championship season. I really, really would have liked to have been older when they won the 2 titles because I was too young to REALLY pay attention.

    If that's the case, I would like to ad '83 & '84.

Early teen summers filled with Skateboarding, Astroworld, MTV, Commodore 64, Hacky sack, Van Halen, Billy Idol, heavy metal & punk rock, cheesey movies and all the other '80s crap.
