I loves me some Rubio. But think giving up Brooks AND Lowry plus a draft pick might be a little too much and would expose us depth wise. A deal involving Battier/Hill/draft pick?
we'll end up with 3 point guards plus we have a thin shooting guard - Martin. And they're not gonna need Battier, they're building up a team, no place for a dfense veteran like Battier. Brooks + Draft.
Would you trade that much for John Wall? Because the same argument applies to him as well. Except that Rubio has played against far superior competition over the past several seasons. (Not saying that I'd necessarily give up that much for Rubio. But I would if Morey thinks he's worth it. Special talent costs "stuff".)
I don't know why everybody high on this guy, he is averaging 6.6 PPG, 4.1 APG, and 2.6 TO, what makes him so special ..??
well i guess i used one reason why i wouldnt give up those guys and a possibly pretty high pick. and should have said i wouldnt give up those things for HIM. he may very well be better then aaron brooks, but how much? is he going to be up there with the top 3 or 4 point guards. i doubt it. i also think jordan hill will be pretty good in 2 years. and then on top of that throw in what will probably will be a top 10 pick. its just a plain BAD move.
