I'm voting for Bush. No secret there.

I'm on record saying that if Kerry does win I will support him hoping he can live up to all of his plans and promises because regardless of how lightly many liberals take the threat of terrorism, we are going to need someone who can deal with it. If Kerry wins I hope he makes this country the safe, or safer, place we once lived in.

What are you Bush haters going to do if he wins? Start stumping for Hilary?

    Seriously?

If Kerry wins, I'm going to give the Kerryons hell for all of his "I Have a Plan" policies that fail to even materialize. In real life, though, I'll hope for a safer America for my children.

Maybe I'll become a professional Protestor... :D If Kerry wins there will be a lot of job openings.

If Bush wins, I will just hope that somewhere along the way, he learns from all his mistakes, and does a better job the next four years, and doesn't do so much damage to our nation that it would take longer than my lifetime to undo.

If George Bush wins, I'm going to stab myself in the eye with a pencil to dull the pain.

I'll be sad if Bush loses, but I will support Kerry and remember that no matter who is the president we still are the best nation in the world, and that's largely because we can vote who we want to be our leaders every 4 years.

I know that if Bush loses....both he and Kerry must cooperate. The outgoing pepole and the incoming people would need to get together to help ensure the transition is smooth since we are in a time of war. This is one of those years where although I may be bitter if Bush loses.. the transition would have to be done smoothely for the sake of the people of Iraq. It is hard to change leaders during War... so both sides would have to make sure they made it go smoothly.

ditto, hope he learns from his mistakes and cleans up any messes he makes, also pray for good health for the supreme court judges.

however, if kerry wins, i'll be bashing him and making sure he keeps up his promises, just because he's the lesser of two evils (my opinion) doesn't make him free of a thorough thrashing of criticism. If anything, i'll be holding him to a much higher standard than Bush.

DonnyMost, congratulations and well said: you "get it."

After each election, despite the predictions of gloom by the losing side, the nation marches onward, sometimes muddling, sometimes soaring.

With all the power and prestige of the Presidency comes the anchors of Congress and courts. That's the way our government was designed, and that's the way our government works.

If change truly comes about, it will not come through the Presidential figurehead. It will come when we cast out the intransigent ideologues like Nancy Pelosi and Tom DeLay. It will come when we move forward through compromise and compassion, with reason and respect, with honor and hope.

If Kerry wins I can live with it. i won't be happy about it but I would go out and make some purchases in 2004 to make sure I can take advantage of the depreciation tax laws now.

I will pray that God (in his apparently frequent conversations with GWB) gives Bush the wisdom to see and the strength to correct his mistakes.

The wife and I will take a four year vacation to France!

    :D

    Just kidding...

Like andy, I will pray that Bush gains wisdom and understanding that he is not infallible and move more towards the compassionate conservatism that he gives lip service too. I also hope that he listens to the 35% or so of his own party that says there needs to be constructive changes within his administration.

I will continue to live my life within the bounds of what I think is decent and fair. I will continue to fight for decency and fairness to other countries, the environment, my elders and this great country that I love. The greatest country on earth! The United States of America!

And Faos your comment about liberals taking the threat of terrorism lightly is insulting.

If Bush wins I will be forced to go to the Middle East to spend time with my terrorist friends.

If Kerry wins I will let my terrorist friends come over to my house because he is going to invite them all over to our country for a big party.

Well, God once spoke to mankind through a burning Bush that was not consumed by fire. On the other hand, perhaps God will send us another J.F.K. to unite the nation and provide a vision for the future.

Thank goodness that God forgives our pettiness and stupidity and grants us the power to choose our own paths.

Whoever wins, I hope they have the sense to be more inclusive to all sides of the arguement.
The problem with today's government is the glaring partisanship by both parties that's alienating the middle.
If Bush wins and we get more of the same, then I will really believe that this country cannot learn from it's mistakes.
If Bush wins and does defeat terrorism(as much as one country can) and leaves no child behind and becomes the unificator that he once claimed to be than I will be the first or second to say I was wrong about him. But I won't hold my hand on my ass.
If Kerry wins and doesn't live up to expectations, than the democratitc party will be in worse shape than ever and Kerry won't be re-elected or go down as weak as Jimmy or worse Bush Sr.

I think the kook fringe may march on Washington DC in protest. You can be sure that they will repeat the falsehoods of voter intimidation, fraud, disenfranchisement, fear tactics, and whatever other excuses they can generate in that little gray matter housed between their long unkept hair.

Will Rush be leading the parade, or will he be too strung out on Hillbilly Heroin to get out of bed that day?

If Kerry wins, I will make sure my 15 foot deep reinforced bunker is complete along with food, water, various supplies, firearms, and at least 1 tons worth of ordanance and ammunition...
