seriously, a simple question: how many times must this team fail at the same things before people realize major changes are necessary? the inability of this team to handle pressure of any kind has been alarming since the dallas collapse in 05. now it defines this team. with JVG's structure, they failed. with Adelman's freedom to execute, they are failing. With a team of veterans they failed. Now with a good mix of young and old they are failing. The only constants over this entire period of futility are tracy and yao. everything around them has changed and the team still fails consistently and in the same alarming ways. maybe we should have made sure we had a good foundation before making plans for a skyscraper. what will it take before this is fixed? how much more failure must there be? how many times must we see the same things go wrong? it is time to change the culture of this team. it is time.
It's been said long time ago that Yao/Mac duo is not going to work no matter how hard they try.Their personalities decide who and what they're made of.I don't think the changes on the roster could do alot to our team. I must say, ship 'em all to another places, retool the rockets.
If the problem has been ongoing for 5 years there is something wrong with the personnel. The only solution is to either move Yao or Tmac. But by doing that, we might as well kiss our championship aspirations goodbye. So, as a fan, we have to hope that this problem will suddenly be corrected even though for 5 years it has not yet.
If we lose in the first round AGAIN, its time to blow it up. Anybody is free game to me except Yao and Scola.
I know its frustrating, but i say you got to give this season its all, before calling it quits on the roster. These next couple weeks could allow us to turn the ship around. However, if the season ends in a 1st round playofff loss again, then yes, its time to blow it up. Get what you can for TMac, they will obviously keep Yao. Tmac wont bring back a whole lot now, but we may be able to bring back a solid piece or two. He will have an expiring contract then, so that will make him slightly more valuable (think AI to Detroit, brought the Nuggets Billups). My verdict is still out on Artest. Right now, I'm leaning toward low balling him, and if he doesnt want it, then letting him walk. He hasnt yet proven that he deserves a big contract extension.
Next 11 games would determine the future direction of the team, that was what Morey has been said indirectly. I hope that they will look at the coach too before deciding to trade a key player since we all know that it is easy to replace a coach than trade expensive players in the NBA.
are you serious? all? no exception. please respond so I know how to respond as well because right now your a sorry businessman, sportsfan or not.
boo this man for this trade.. Ron is not the problem. Rafer doesn't need to go either he just needs to change is game. Ron stays but if we can an upgrade over Rafer then we trade him other than that leave the team alone
Oh man, don't take it too seriously,I was kidding but we all know that duo is not working together, isn't it?
That would do it...the Rockets would instantly be much better. But......why would Toronto do that? DD
