Under the new amnesty clause (suppose its only for the off-season), do we have a limit on the number of crazy contracts that can be lifted from the roster. What can we do to move 1.) Vin Baker 2.) Moochie Norris 3.) Char"LIE" Ward These three players for one good one would be worth the move.

The only person CRAZY enough at this stage would be Isiah and since he's already thrown these players to the curb once, I don't he'd be willing to take them back for a player that would help us in any way.

To answer the question, not a whole lot. Besides being over the hill players, they are expiring contracts. Teams will be looking for some cap relief and will be willing to deal some decent players in order to do so. Like the saying says, "One man's trash is another's treasure." There is also the chance that we don't deal them at all since we can use some cap relief ourselves.

I don't think SJC does polite. As for what it takes to "move our trash," just a little patience. Wait half a season or, at most, a full season, and they'll be gone.
At this point in time, why would any team be stupid enough to give us anything for these 3 players, much less a good player? Are there any 3 "trash" players (as you call them) we would want in exchange for any of our rotation players? FYI: Usually when a trade is made, both teams feel they are improving themselves in some way. IMO, it's likely 2 of the 3 players above will be cut because we need the roster spots, unless one or two of them can be packaged with a rotation player in a trade to get another rotation player in return.
I was unsure of what exactly you meant about the amnesty clause...so forgive me if you already know this.....but 1....the amnesty clause is only applicable for this off-season 2....you can only use it to get rid of 1(one) player(which we already have) so...it has absolutely zero relevence in regard to losing our expiring bench warmers. now....some say that there is always the possibility that someone will trade a un-needed roataion player for the cap room that the expiring contracts of Mssrs. Baker, Ward and Norris will bring....but I find it pretty doubtful myself....but ya never know...maybe Isaah will get brain herpes again and give us a pick or two for them.
