I am planning on going and I've gone before, but now that we have pretty much a new and younger team. What will be the overall reaction.

I have a cousin who used to be a "Rockets Fan" and now he is a "Lakers Fan" excuse me "Kobe Fan" and he says he will be attending the open practice. And I asked him why are you going, you don't like the Rockets. And he Replied, "to chant T-mac sucks", I hate the fact that he is so bitter, what pisses me off even more is the fact that I am sure he isn't the only one that is going to act in a similar way, rather than supporting the team.

Personally, I like t-mac and feel it is rather unfortunate what has happened to him over the past couple of years, but is it necessary to act in this way? This will only push him away and he will definitely not want to stay in Houston or give his all, I know it is a contract year, but still can't we support every player on the team. It really doesn't help with the team chemistry.

What would you do in my situation, knowing he was going to do this, also what do you think the overall reaction will be?

The Rockets coaches or staff should kick out any "fans" that heckle at its players during open practice. That's BS.

Good Idea about staff kicking them out, there is no respect to the overall meaning of the open practice. I really hate hecklers, but what I hate most is the change in opinion when our team is doing good.

When is it? I think it might be a good way to begin the season for the basketball team I coach.

I'm so tired of the McGrady discussion. Ready for it to be over.

I agree with this. The dude is a Kobe-only fan living in Houston. Even if he does chant, it doesn't carry any weight. Tell him to take the first plane out of our city.

If I was in your position and the staff didn't throw him out,
    1) Pretend you don't know him
    2) Tell him to move to L.A.

Or carry a giant sign that says "I'm with a Lakers fan and not responsible for its behavior."
