I read a very interesting thread at the [H]ard|OCP forums about ghosts/hauntings/etc. It reminded me of a conversation I had with some friends . . . "If you were to die and then haunt somewhere, where would you haunt?" I'd have to pick the Strake Jesuit campus late at night. Specifically the walkway in between all the buildings. You'd hear my dolly going over the cracks, and the one wheel that is rattling. Then maybe a *bang* (when something falls off) and a "damnit!" in the wind. --or-- I'd haunt room TR145 at St. Mary's. I spent one interesting summer there, and wouldn't mind haunting that room There's talk of another room in that dorm that really is haunted, but I don't know which one it is. Word is that it is never assigned to anyone, and it's boarded up . . .
Staying with the PG theme, I'd say Royal Memorial Stadium. If the other alumni won't cheer, I'd be able make up for it.
I'd haunt the first house I owned. I always told myself that I could've lived in that house till I died... so after I die, I wouldn't mind going back... sometimes you don't have a choice of where or what you haunt... {insert ghostly animated gif}
Last year I was working on a paper late at night (early morning: 2 AM) at the Undergraduate Library. When I was done I exited the library and walked towards my dorm room. I had to walk past the UT Tower and through the South Mall. At around midnight, all the lights on the UT campus are turned off. It was dark and there wasn't a person in sight. The wind picked up, the trees started swaying, I think I may have heard screams (probably the wind...right?)....I took off running and didn't look back. The only thing I could think about was the murder. History. I don't know where I'd haunt, but this wouldn't be a bad place (I mean the campus, not the Tower).
I would haunt the Eldorado Ballroom, at the corner of Elgin and Dowling. If only those walls could talk.....
