Our biggest problem that I see this year is that we are to deep. We have 10 or 11 people that can start at any given time. This is what the Trail blazers have done the last 3 or 4 years and it has not worked for them. In order for our team to stay consistent we need to set up and 8 or 9 man rotation and keep it that way. I would love to see this lineup. This is what Rudy needs to do. 1.We have many guys that can score so I would change it up a bit by bringing Mobley of the bench to spark things up late in the first. 2. I would try to give Ming as many minutes as I could as long as he stayed out of foul trouble. And while he was in I would feed the ball through his hands every time down the court, so that the defense would be thrown off key. This would be lineups; PG.Francis SG.Hawkins SF.Rice PF.Taylor C. Ming This starting lineup is solid and it gives the best bench in basketball 1. Mobley (Instant offense, he still finishes the fourth quarter) 2 Griffin ( Little bit of D and O and he can hit a few 3's) 3 Thomas( Scrappy player we need off the bench) 4 Cato (to relieve Ming when tired or foul trounle) The rest of the team des not play unless game is out of reach or injury ocurs.
Dr Basketball, Excellent post. Some of my comments. 1. Yao Ming will be player on the team with most potential to improve. Give him as many minutes as possible, as long he is not in foul trouble/too tired. In the 3rd quarter with Warrior, Rudy should have taken him off court when he get his fourth foul. That way he can get some minutes in 4th quarter. 2. I prefer to start Mobley instead of Rice. ruyun5
