1230 - 620 verbal, 610 math Definitely low compared to some of my peers (I'm about to graduate from UT with a degree in Computer Engineering) but it can't mean too much as I've made it through school alright with a better GPA that many of them (which means GPA can't mean too much either obviously! )
dude, i'm 32. i have no idea. my 6 year old is closer to taking his SAT test than I am to when I took mine!
A 960, I could have cared less about the stupid SAT. I finished 10th in my classs, so I basically had to sign my name on the SAT form to get into UH.
1220 (old school SAT) High enough on the first try to get me into college, with no prep, and hungover. Hooray BEER!
730+730=1460 in 02 before they started this madness with three sections. The SAT is just like any other test in life you study and practice you do good and if you don't you don't do as well. Of couse this doesn't apply to all those genius people out who do well regardless.
All I remember is that I scored 100 points higher on my GRE than SAT... and I didn't quite crack the top 60% in math. I would have done worse on the GRE math had I not studied fractions the night before. Did well enough on my subject test and the verbal to get me into a good grad school though.
just prepared a little bit with a SAT prep book. I got a 1340 (670 Verbal, 670 Math) (2003) really didn't care though I had pretty much decided to come to UT and the top ten percent rule was still in effect.
Not to mention that the scores changed dramatically after 92, I believe. I got an 1100 when I took it in 88. But at the time, that was considered a pretty good score.
