All these action movies this summer got me reminiscing about the days where I could just take a swing at someone without worrying of the consequences. I know every guy in here has had one.

My earliest fight I could remember was sometime in early elementary when these two pricks decided to double team me. Don't remember what the fight was about, probably started from name calling. Anyways, I tackled both them sissies. I don't think anyone really won, I kept them both on the ground so none of them could do any damage. This was during recess so we were wrestling, kicking, and punching for a while. Don't remember the end tho. Just remembered how awesome it was throwing myself at them to the ground.

Fights were so awesome as a kid cus back then we were all pretty much the same size. It wasn't until puberty when my small azn body grew at a glacial pace while everyone else shot straight up.

    So that's mine, yours?

I broke my neighbor's nose when I was 8. He was trying to bully me so I followed my father's advice and punched him in the nose. I was probably as upset as he was when I saw all that blood gushing out of his face

I punched a kid in the forehead in 7th grade recess while playing basketball and my pinky finger is jacked up to this day. He fell down backwards and I was so scared that I was going to be in trouble I ran away  . I'm 25 now and have only been in about 6 fights my whole life.

I try to avoid bad situations and haven't been in a fight since college like 4 years ago. In college a distant friend got punched in the back of the head from outside a bar fight he fell awkwardly and ended up dying. The other guy was charged with manslaughter.

This is all completely true and is not a "MacBeth" story. (Scout's Honor) :D

I am 10 years old and had just moved into a new apartment complex off of Uvalde. My older brother had moved with my mom a couple of weeks earlier to set up while I stayed with relatives.

So my first day there, my brother and the other kids are boxing with these massive 16 oz boxing gloves. My brother asks if I want to box with them. I am sitting on the 3rd or 4th to the bottom step of some stairs that are missing several railings to my right. The boys are gathered around to my right and are looking on. I am reading a comic book so I said "No. I don't want to now, maybe later."

This punk kid Andy (btw, Andy: f*** you if you ever read this, pal) comes up to the side of the staircase and the following dialogue takes place:

    Andy: Come fight
    Me: No.
    Andy: Come on you chicken!
    Me: No.
    Andy: Come on!!!

Andy swings through the missing railing and punches me in the side of the face with the boxing glove.

I grab the railing and swing through the gap in the bars feet first, kicking Andy in the chest with both feet. He falls backwards to the ground and I land on top of him, my knees pinning his arms to the ground. The merciless ground and pound begins. Punches rain down from above in a moment of unbridled rage and unrelenting violence.

The other kids look on in horror until my older brother realizes that I am not stopping until I run out of steam. He uses all of his strength to tear me off of my victim, Andy's face left in a bloody pulp.

I wasn't challenged to a fight again while we lived there.

One of my best friends started acting like a total dick in the 4th grade. I don't what happened but everything was fine in the 3rd grade but when the 4th grade started, he had changed completely.

So I punched him in the face...and that's it. He didn't do anything. I left. He changed back afterwards but I've never really considered him a friend since.

It's one of the two times I've gotten in a 'fight'. The other, one that was a couple of years back, was similar, punched a dude in the face and he ran away.

I don't go around looking for fights. It's the opposite, it takes a lot of provocation to get me to fight and I think I'm letting people to go too far. I suppose that is the reason why a lot of people feel the need to find out how much is enough. I'm also reluctant to fight because I would get suspended, fired or even sued.

Then there was this other time I had to deal with a bully named Scut Farkus. He broke my glasses and I flew into a rage. "I have since heard of people under extreme duress speaking in strange tongues. I became conscious that a steady torrent of obscenities and swearing of all kinds was pouring out of me as I screamed."

    Sincerely,

When I was 5 my 8-year-old neighbor was a real bully. I got fed up with it one day and put him in a bear hug and wouldn't let go. He was screaming and crying and his mom came out and broke us up. She later called my mom to tell her what a bad boy I was (at a foot shorter, no less) for hurting her little boy.

Just curious, how many people here fought with there siblings? I mean actually fist fight, not like you kick him and he started crying, cause that just bullying.

My first real fight was against my older brother, I was 7 and he was 10. We were fighting over the nintendo, he was playing a game for acouple of hours and wouldn't give me a turn. I would ask acouple of times "when can I play" and he would respond by saying "in 20 mins" or something like that.

Well after awhile of asking and getting the same response without anything changing, I became more furious and took the system and pull it hard enough to have the cord unplugged from it, thus shutting off the game. He instantly came charing at me.... and unlike most of the other stories in this thread... I got my butt whooped. Good guys don't always win.
Atleast he had to start all over on Super Mario, so that was worth it.

I'm pretty sure I've been in fight before that, I just don't remember it.

It was in 5th grade . I fought a kid over a game of pencil break ...... he was cheating somehow, I just know it . Anyways, it was after gym class and we threw down . I tried the Double Dragon move where you grab them by the hair and knee them in the face . That didn't work very well, so I just nailed him with my Voltron lunch box . :D

I've never really been in what I would call a 'real' fight. Just a few scraps is all.

In 5th grade some kid and I didn't like each other for whatever reason. He tried to tackle me from behind, but I was taking a step as he put his shoulder into my lower back, so I didn't go down. I immediately put him in a headlock and could have wailed on him like Nolan did to Robin Ventura, but I decided not to for whatever reason. I already had the upper-hand, I guess. I held him in the headlock until I got a submission out of him.

Another time in 6th grade some twerp who was a smaller than me (and I wasn't particularly big....just average size) decides he wants to fight me. I don't remember why.

We ran into each other one weekend. Words were exchanged, mostly in the form of obscenities involving each others' mothers, he punched me in the mouth and I kicked him in the face. That was the end of that.

    it went down like this:

in third grade, everyone was fighting, so little old me challenged a dude to a fight. he asked if I was sure, and after I nodded yes, he punched me in the stomach, knocked the wind out of me, then helped me back up to my feet. we were best friends for all of childhood after that...
