What was your favorite/least favorite halloween candy as a kid?

    I always liked bottle caps the best...not neccessarily because they were the best tasting, but because I could never find them any time of the year but halloween. The mini candy bars also got devoured quickly, except for those nasty dark chocolate hershey bars.

    My least favorite were the suckers and lollipops. There was just something so "plain" about them...they always ended up staying in the candy bowl until February or March and end up getting thrown out

    ...the boxes of raisins didn't even make it home...

    My favorite was always the miniature Snickers, Mily-Way or any other mini candy bar people handed out. I always hated those black and orange peanut butter candies that people handed out.

    I really hated those apples with the razor blades in them........ :eek:

    Seriously, I have never been into candy or sweets. When I used to trick or treat when I was a kid, I would come home with a huge bag of candy, and it would sit in my closet until my Mom threw it out the following spring.

    Let's see we are talking about the late '70s here....

    I liked pixie sticks. I have always loved sour candy.

    Tootsie Rolls sucked, and those Brach candies. I never liked candy corn either.

    they're usually the cheapest, so that's what i get for the kids. hahahahaha.

    Are you serious!? :eek: Hook a brotha up! should of at least gave it to a friend, they would of gladly taken it.

    My favorite would have to be skittles or jolly ranchers, always and still do love those two candies.

    ugh...I forgot about the candy corn.

    ...and black licorice doesn't even count as candy. There are about ten people in the entire country that eat black licorice, so it's one of those necessary evils...

    How did that crap ever get invented? I mean, who tasted it and said, "mmm... this is delicious! The kids are gonna love this?"

    Not only is that a mystery to me, I also don't understand how it has survived as a confection for so many years.

    Favorite: Brand name chocolate bars. Peanut Butter Cups. Hersey's kisses.

    Least Favorite: Candy Corn. Generic hard candies (you know the ones in those clear colored wrappers).

    Butterfingers - mmmmm.
    Any chocolates with nuts - Baby Ruths, Snickers, Herseys w/Almonds, Peanut M&Ms

    Candy I hated:
    Those orange and black wrapped what-ever - bad tasting and hard to chew.
    Hard candy - Hey I can get all these that I want when I see my Grandma.
    Candy Corn - Nothing says come back and egg me like a handful of candy corn.
    Three Musketeers - good for trades though to those who like them.

    I always loved bottle caps, nerds, sweet tarts...pretty much every candy thats's made out of pure sugar.

    I hate getting generic mexican candy, candy corn, big hunk, and black licorice.
