What tradeable assets do we have?

I can't think of a single one outside of Yao and T-Mac...

    Battier,

I think we had a small Trade Exemption from the Tsakalidis trade
Sura's contract is expiring for 3.84 million, although only 1 million is garunteed.

After that the next best trade asset is V-span, Head and Snyder, and none of them will net much in a trade.

Luther Head, Shane Battier, Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes, and Steve Novak have value around the league.

Luther Head, Sura's contract, Juwan Howard, and our draft choices. I'd send them all along with ole what's his name "Shooter" to Seattle for Rashard. Then hopefully Francis gets bought out and we could bring him back with the MLE. Snyder is trade bait too. JLIII too. 111, Battier, Deke, and VSpan are the only untouchables for me. We need to re-sign Deke for another year.

    Sura
-essentially a trade 3mil for 1mil salary dump

    The who wants them list:
    Snyder
    Lucas
-Bobcats need guards, have excess PF's maybe Walter Herrmann?
    JHo
-Maybe Chi, they like their vet PF's, and he's a hometown hero.

    S&T:
    Deke
    Jake
-there's bound to be takers for centers.

Yao, T-Mac, and Battier are untouchable for me. Everything else is fair game as long as its a good trade.

I'm hoping we can dump JHo and clear up cap space for a good, young starting PF. JHo did a decent job for us, but just not enough to justify the cap space he's taking up. Resign Deke to back up Yao. Keep Hayes to backup the new PF. Battier and T-Mac stay in their respective positions, and we bring in Francis to share time with Alston and be the 3rd scoring threat.

So we have Yao, new PF, Battier, T-Mac, Francis/Alston. On the bench we would have Deke, Hayes, Head, V-Span. I think Snyder and JLIII should go. Snyder's decent, but we should use both of them to get something better.

We also need a better offense . . . so JVG will most likely have to go.

Everything left after our big 3 is mediocre to garbage assets.

I think the league will realized that our young players all got values, JVG just don't know how to harvest them.

Take a look at nacbar with the Nets.

Tmac and Yao are both untradeable, however, tmac is more tradeable than Yao should one needs to go.

I don't think Battier will be traded unless something really good come up.

rest are all good to go.

    I wouldn't mind if we traded Battier for a dead-eye shooting 2.
