Will the Rockets plan to re-op Oscar this offseason? In the early part of the year they were giving him big minutes and he was playing really good. As of late, the last three months or so it seems, he has not been getting good playing time at all. His contract expires this summer and I was wondering what are their plans with him?

    resign him

I think he's been on the shelf to hide him
Don't want someone else to steal him

He seems to be a keeper

I believe that Mr. Torres was injured for some period of that last three months?

I'm thinking Oz will go somewhere else in the offseason for these reasons.

    • SG - He's backing up a player that plays the most minutes on the team
    • SF - He's going to be stuck behind Rice, and Tmo will probably get the nod over Oscar due to the fact the Rockets paid a 1st round pick for him and want to give him every chance to pan out
    • Another team will give him a chance to have more consistent minutes and a chance to prove himself

I'd love to see Oscar stay, but I just have a hunch that he'll leave for a team that will offer him more PT.

Resign him and PLAY him. This guy is too good to sit; when he was given a chance, he played well, then he mysteriously disappeared. I think he was seriously mismanaged this year. (along with Griffin).
