Has anyone thought of what the Rox will do with Rice? If Taylor comes back and then Griff is here, who will start at the 3? I think next year's starting lineup looks like this: C: Cato PF: Taylor SF: Rice SG: Mobley PG: Francis But does Griffin deserve to come off the bench? I think he adds a lot more than Rice does to the starting lineup, but Rice's game is not suited for the bench. He's a shooter who needs penetration and double teams.
If he works hard on his three-point shot in the offseason and comes back shooting 40+%...I say, start him. If not, go ahead and take him out behind the barn...

There's no way Rudy will leave Rice on the bench and it is unlikely Thomas will be back next year. Rice fits in with the starters a whole lot better than the bench. Mo T will no doubt be the starting PF and whether Cato is or isn't starting at center is debatable. But he is good at what he does, which is finishing and blocking shots.
