I just scored some free tix to the Titans - Texans games, section 314.

It has been over 10 years since my last pro football game. The last game I attended was Bills at Oilers in 92. The last game of the season and the game before , well you know...THAT game in Buffalo.

What is there to see and do at Reliant? What food do you recommend? Is the Budweiser Plaza worth getting to before the game? We plan on taking the METRO bus into the game, this a good idea?

    thanks :)

take the metro if you don't have a parking pass..you can't park on property without a prepurchased parking pass

the food at the stadium sucks. i'm serious. i love going to texans games, but the food is the worst of all 3 stadiums in town.

we get there early to watch pregame...my son loves watching the mascot and the player introductions with the fireworks. that's certainly part of the experience if you've never been.

budweiser plaza is ok...the texans store there is nice...the pre-game atmosphere blows the doors off any experience i ever had at an oilers game.

I haven't got to go to a game yet, but even I know that the best food is outside! Tailgating, it's the only way to go. :D

Definetly get there in time to hear the starting lineups. I don't think the food is bad at the stadium, except for the price of course. I'm not much of an expert on that though, because I order the Nachos Supreme no matter what sporting event I'm at.

Tailgating is my favorite part of the whole experience, but that won't really be possible if you are taking the Metro. You could look on ebay and see if there are any parking passes for sale to that game.

Tailgating is lots of fun there. If you want to go to a restaurant for breakfast or lunch before the game, email me. I live 10 minutes from the stadium and can turn you on to all sorts of restaurants to go to that are close by...breakfast or lunch.
