I will be spending two weeks working in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway at the beginning of October. I will have only two days in each country. I will be busy with work during the day, but should have several hours in the evenings to perhaps hit the highlights of the cities I will be in. The cities are Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm and Oslo. Is there anybody here from these countries, or at least travelled through them? The only place I have been to previously is Copenhagen.

    thanks

Tell them that they are a bunch of dumb inefficient socialists in a condescending fashion....with quotes from the National Review.

Also, go to slate.com, and do some searches, several months ago they sent one of their writers on vacation through scandanavia and he did a bunch of travel pieces that were pretty good.

It should be under the "well traveled" dept in the archives somewhere.

Thanks Samuel. I'll hold off on my political commentaries over there. As for here on the board, I will continue to reign supreme.

Just sit in the Malmo train station and oogle. I found its a very good place to oogle. No, but in Copenhagen, you can get a bike for free with a koiner deposit and then ride all around town, use it to go see that mermaid (not merman). Also, its not winter so it shouldn't be getting dark at 1:30 in the afternoon...

    texxx,

Make sure that when you are in Norway that you stop by to see our favorite Norwegian in Heath!

I am sure that he will be more than glad to visit with you and talk Championship Manager soccer with you, lol.:p

I'll have to post again when I have more time -- I lived in Norway for 3 1/2 years and have traveled somewhat extensively in that area, although I've never been to Finland.

I lived in the southern part of Norway (Stavanger), but if you're not going to be making it down there, I can still recommend some awesome stuff in Oslo. I'll look up my pictures from that trip this evening.
