what I love is the huge chopsticks and the ladle for a spoon. I would order it just for the novelty. I was told by someone that it cost 22 bucks for the bowl.
Pho is so overrated. They always make a huge bowl of it. All it is is seasoned water with some meat and veggies in it. Typically loaded with bean sprouts and cilantro. Bigger bowl = more water.
He didnt really say anything that was untrue. Anyone know which restaurant that picture is from? That's a big ass bowl there.
lol that's what i thought too. it's good food, enjoy it and dont be overly critical about food, of all things.
That can be said for any soup. Just some water, meat, vegetables and herbs. I was told that its somewhere in San Fran.
No.......but calling it "water" does. I've made Pho broth, and--no offense (honestly)--I can't imagine a smoker being able to detect the subtle nuances in the flavor of a good Pho broth, they should at least be told that making good Pho broth is most certainly a labor of love.
No kidding. Real pho broth is made from boiling the bones over 72 hours or something. I doubt they spend that long at the restaurants but the point is it is more than just water.
