am i the only person who saw it? no one's mentioned it on HPF's forum, either, but i simply HAVE to talk about it... here's my stock review, a rundown of my favorite parts: * chad hutchison and his gay roommate singing BLACK. the first time was kinda creepy; when they cut to them a second time signing in their dorm room, i literally laughed as hard as i ever have previously. god, that was funny... the ambiguously gay... DUO! * also, did you catch that the gay white WR said, in describing his love of the underdog role, "i like to come from the behind." freudian slip? * jones arriving at campo's party and leaving behind a road runner-like cloud of dust when campo mentioned the margarita machine * avezzano's odd, "you're not a very good all-star, professional referee; i'm gonna withhold your pay check this week" rant during the arena league playoff game, maybe the most bizarre, non-sensical of all-time * why in the HELL is jerry jones making cuts? and, in my best chandler bing, could he string that poor guy along ANY longer? "we think, at this time, that our football team, at this time, is going to go, not in a different direction, mind you... ahhhh, but sports, in general, is a way of life, and football is too." "uhm, sir... have i been cut?" * the evil chorographer telling all those hot chicks that they're fat. honestly, she deserves cancer. * bill bates sparing everyone to death with his riveting story of the world's fastest fowl. i have never understood bill bates' hero-like appeal in dallas. * the coaches ripping rowdy (everyone in dallas hates rowdy, btw -- http://www.removerowdy.com) * bruce coslet's almost unprecedented double f-bomb * the lame, spare WR running tires and exlciaming "that's hard knocks, baby " when he got done -- in my best chad hutchinson, "Lay-AME!" on a scale of 1-to-5, i'm giving last night's show an unprecedented 34. if they can work in cheerleader nudity, look out. and damn it, the texans should be doing this!!! ARRRGHHHH!!!!
i knew the office space reference was looming.... guys, HARD KNOCKS... hbo's all-access look at NFL training camp, this year featuring the dallas cowboys... anyone? bueller? do we maybe need to renew our tv guide subscriptions?
i saw it... pretty dull, but since it was only the first episode it was acceptable... you pretty much hit the high notes on the head Ric. what on earth was Jerry Jones doing cutting a player? Isn't that a right reserved for coaches? Seems like he was playing to the cameras there! Dave Campo has one hell of a house! That party seemed nice, especially with an actual Margarita machine! wow! hutchinson and flowers, wtf???? they're music was awful... i did like the gambler at the end, nice touch... evil dallas cowboy choreographer telling chicks they were fat... lmao!!! i'm surprised that the one assistant coach also is a head coach in Arena football... if i played for his arena team, i'd be upset that he split time with two teams during their PLAYOFF game!!! sure, its arena football, but its important to the players in that league! i look forward to watching the entire season, but i still think that nothing will top last year with billy b!

Ooooh... man you missed out (not trying to bum you out dude)... but oooh wee! when the girls got catty and started complaining about how a lot of the contestants were dressed "inappropriately" with their daisy dukes, and the ESPN cameras showed examples of the scantily clad women (from the back)... well i had to go take a cold shower! man ESPN knows how to grab its target demographic! i'm hooked to that show!
Omg when that lady told the cheerleaders they were fat I wanted to jump in that TV and slap that hoe around. And did you see the look on the girl’s faces when she said that? What also pissed me off was when Jerry Jones made the cut. That is the coach’s job. And yes that was funny when Jerry Jones took off to the margarita machine. Did yall see last years hard knocks with the Ravens? To me that was a better show b/c it’s a better organization. And all this is coming from a Cowboy fan.
Ok - took me a minute to get what you were talking about Ric, but I did watch about 30 minutes the other night. Those coaches are real hard a$$es. It was pretty interesting though, I would watch something more like that.
