Did they get any good from Jazz? or how can they get used to Jazz's playing dirty n just not willing to blow their whistle?? with Mav. we got treated like this, while with Jazz, the situation seems still unchanged.
The study they did last year on refs is correct. White players do get partial treatment over black. REFS ARE RACIST, THAT'S WHAT IT IS!
it must be the most frustrating series for the refs. I mean yeah the jazz are b****es and getting calls, but scola almost single handily makes up for that too. When your behind, calls not going your way are emphasized so much more then when you're ahead. Tough series for the refs. It's not their fault. we shot 36% and can't hit free throws, when you're fighting an uphill battle like that you gotta be able to execute on offense better. At least our defense is stellar.
We haven't been playing our best especially on the offensive end but refs have also been a HUGE factor. Their decisions cost us 2 games, right?
Did anyone notice after Deron dunked the ball....and the crowd was very loud....they stop blowing the whistle. Rockets got fouled atleast 3 straight possesions.
The refs were bad...but both ways. As much as they screwed us, they also missed a number of calls to let us back in. I haven't watched the replays yet, but I'm pretty sure they missed an obvious double-dribble on T-Mac late. T-Mac also looked like he traveled on Rafer's huge 3. And, Landry looked like he goaltended on his putback. The game came down to the our inability to stop Deron Williams, free throw shooting, the the missed rebound. So close
no its OVER THE BACK on that last missed rebound. serioulsy this is BULL *****. we could be winning 3-1 if it waasnet for those damn refs
to the refs... asian > black > white. i guess we could say we are lucky that we don't have yao. in all seriouesness, refs are stupid, seriously, what the hell is wrong with them. don't the refs watch games? jazz = floppers, jazz = pansies, shouoldn't they have that in consider when they call fouls?
they missed an offensive interference call on Landry, but that's only one compared to a million in favor of the Jazz, including an over the back by Okur on the last rebound.. I say we just abandon good manners and start flopping our fricking heads off.. that's the only damn way we can keep up.. hell, if you're playing poker and everyone is cheating, would you sit there, proud of your values, and whine like a little kid that you're losing? no, might as well cheat like the rest..
Enough with the refs, they are always gonna miss calls, great teams overcome bad calls. 1 simple rebound and the Jazz fans would be crying about refs...
What makes me completely and utterly sick is that if we lose this series and Utah goes on to play Lakers, the refs will be helping Lakers in every possible way despite the fact our guys are getting murdered out there. I'm sick of the NBA. Absolutely sick of it.
I hate refs. THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE RULE SO THAT THE FANS CAN OVERRULE THE REFS WITH their remotes. Like the TV should monitor and send a signal direct to the buzzer in the arena when I try to change the call by throwing the remote or by shaking it and saying f?ck you mother f?ckin ref.
All of this whining about the refs has gotten old. Yes, the refs were bad (NBA refs have been bad for years now, thanks for noticing - here's your free autographed copy of "The Jordan Rules") but they were bad both ways. Both teams got away with a load of contact tonight and quite a few missed calls. b****ing that the refs "screwed" us out of a win is what losers do. They hit their FTs, get some rebounds & bother to guard Deron Williams and they win this game refs or no refs.
Your right, they missed a couple of violations on the Rockets. However, there are two differences between the Rockets transgressions and the Jazz. First, when you call a phantom foul, it forces players to the bench and takes them out of the game in addition to causing a turnover. Second, when your elbowing players and throwing them to the floor and not getting called for fouls, it causes bumps and bruises at the very least, injuries at the worst, and defiantly prevents the other team from trying to get into the paint. These repercussions are increased exponentially because all four of the Rocket's best players on the court have pretty significant injuries already.
