Ok I've been skinny all my life and I mean skinny.. those who've seen me at the CF bball games can testify. I'm like 5'7-and-115lbs skinny. I don't eat much, I eat twice a day and not much either. More like I split a meal and eat it two times during the day.. so technically 1. I don't drink. I go make poopy time daily. I exercise regularly= I play ball twice a week. Yet now when I look down I see a big dome where my flat belly is supposed to be. What the hell am I doing wrong? Is this a disease?

How old? Do sit-ups? Does it seem bigger sometimes? (food allergy) (...and twice a day meals is too few; means that your body is forced to store any extra calories as fat)
I'm 21 and I've never had to do sit ups and it's maintained it's shape. I don't recall my belly ever getting this big and it's weird. When I look down I can't see where my pee pee starts anymore.. [/too much info]. I've ate 1-2 meals a day for years since college and although I've gotten sick cus of it, I don't see it being a reason why I'm getting a belly. I eat chips ALOT. Could that be it? I always need to have some lays or fritos laying around my room 24/7. I hate doing sit ups, it hurts my back. I can't work out consistently because of my grave yard shift so I sleep during the day or have no energy during the day and work all night. The only time I get time to do activities are on weekends and I play ball on weekends. Maybe it's those years of making fun of my friends for being skinny with pot bellies. Maybe karma is coming around. Oh and I have never consumed alcohol other than to treat cuts or gashes.. but that's not really consuming.. more like suicidal-pouring on the wound.
six ounces of Fritos basically has your daily allowance of fat. There's a reason they taste so yummy.
I used to be 5'9 and 110 lbs. I think I'm currently 145 lbs and I feel FAT. I want to slim down so I can view my six pack...well, when I don't eat it's visible. Chips and no exercise might be the reason your starting to get fat. Could also be because your metabolism is starting to slow down. I used to be able to eat a megaton every day when I was younger and not get fat. Now, I eat 1-2 meals a day and I feel bloated. Balling twice a week does not = exercise.
Metabolism slowing down. As soon as I graduated college I gained 10 pounds pretty quickly and is starting to weigh around 140 at 5'8". The days of eating whatever you want is gone, you will have to change your diet a little bit.
Mal-nutrition son. Just like them kids starvin' in Africa, but I won't talk about that, b/c that's not ballin'. Hehehe, it's just gettin older. I was like you, around 130-135 my whole life at 5'10". I'm around 170 now...
Haha. Welcome to your 20's. Time to start actually watching what you eat and exercising... or you could just look like the rest of us.
Your metabolism is slowing. This happens to everyone. To compensate, adjust your eating habits slightly or exercise a little bit. Your metabolism will continue to slow the rest of your life. Welcome to manhood.
One thing, when you get a job where you sit at a desk all day, it tends to give you that rounded stomach. Wait till you turn 50 and all the sudden you have jowls. Take Peyton's advice, just buy bigger shirts.
Point Manning! I gained 10 lbs after college - but then again, I lost 10 lbs my first year of college and kept it off until after I graduated. So really, I'm back at zero.
Are you kidding me dude? You're so skinny that when you turn sideways to set a pick I can't even see you.
That's exactly me right now, minus the 170. I haven't gotten there. I'm worried when the weight will start piling on and I'll actually have to watch what I eat. Actually I already try to eat a little more healthy now: reduce red meat, eat more veggies, drink less soda. But my tastes are also changing. I don't like junk food that much now, I don't LOVE Coca-Cola like I used to, I don't crave steak all the time. Anyone else go through that too? I think my taste buds are getting more bland.
